This has to be one of the most eye-pleasing games i have ever seen to date.
There is a cinematic where it shows absolutely breathtaking scenery, locations and jaw-dropping switches from day to night.


The story is sketchy, but it's about Alan Wake, a horror novelist whose love dies horribly. He moves to a small town and starts having terrible nightmares. But them, in the small quaint town overshadowed by beautiful lakes and rolling mountains, his nightmares start to come true.

Light becomes his only ally, because when day turns to night, 'they' come for him....

Honestly, this is the most realistic, breathtaking animation i have ever seen. If i didn't know better, i'd easily say the lake/mountains etc were filmed, real.

wow....those are some amazing graphics. excellent screens. im gonna try to watch the video soon. hopefully it will actually work.

I watched the trailer.....oh my GAWD was that incredible! Those graphics are, for lack of a better term, amazing and unparalelled. The game itself has a very unique and twsited story it sound like. I hope its scary and physologically disturbing like Silent Hill.

That's what it sounds like. It looks like a mix of Silent Hill meets Max Payne and Shenmues baby.

I'm still not exactly sure what the game itself is ment to be. Puzzle? Survival Horror? No clue.

Well it IS in the action genre, so im sure it will be more like a survival horror. But it does seem like it would have some cool puzzles in it too.

I too can't wait for this game, saw it from when they released the ifrst screenshots and have been gasping for more pictures since......well they have delivered and they are breathtaking
