What does it mean to dream of someone dear in her home country (you are visiting it in your dream), and you haven't seen her for the past 5 years? I met her in a supermarket, asked her about her stomach problem by gesturing (rubbing a hand around my stomach) and she thought I was hungry and took a box of cereal...preparing to buy it so that she could make something for me?
Also, she looked considerably older in the dream compared to my memory of her 5 years ago...(She must have thought I was hungry...)

I can't do a reality check on the current status of the person easily...

in reality as being your checkpoint,

understand a dream is a mental state were your mind travels to undefined points, in which your brain stimulates. Understanding and controlling these dreams are nearly impossible and depends soly on the person dreaming.

Ive noticed that much of what my mind ponders about regularly, my dreams reflect, especially if its emotional or having a connection with your psych.

Good luck

It is just a dream.

Maybe it’s foreshadowing a stomach problem…nah, it’s just a dream my friend.

There are some books about interpreting dreams, and what they mean. I have one but its really old. I bet you could find one at the book store. yes.gif

Okay it sounds just like a normal dream do you have anymore to add because its not much to interpret really. Except it could mean communication between you and this girl is broken? Or it’s hard to communicate with her on how you meant her stomach and she thought you meant you was hungry. Have you been thinking times going by and you haven’t seen her for ages hence the she looked older part. Sorry that’s all I can think of unless you give some more detail.

I tend to agree here. I find that although dreams are "Just dreams," usually they do reflect some sort of feeling you have, or something that you may be remembering. Sometimes maybe you can even remember things sub-consiously that you may not have been able to remember awake due to some sort of psychological blocking or something. (For the record, I don't think there's anything super-natural about dreams, no future predicting or anything.)

You say this person isn't someone that youcan easily communicate with -- is it someont that was close to you? Maybe an old friend that moved away, or someone that is in your family that you aren't able to communicate with anymore?

Was the dream recurring, or was it just a one time thing?

I just ask because I'm very interested in things like this -- I minored in psychology, and was always interested in dreaming, hypnosis, and things like that -- any sort of altered states of consciousness. hehe. Anyway! Just curious.

Ah it has been awhile since I was here, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to revive an old topic.

Yes it is a one time dream. I was rather close to this person when she was with me. She was my Indonesian helper that my parents hired to initially help look after the older folks in the home, but she also took care of the younger ones including me at home.

So far, the only line of communication between her and our home is through one of our uncles, but I've never heard anything about her from him so far.

But after she left for home, she seemed to say about herself having some gastric problems. So I was wondering if it had something to do with a message from her to look after my health because I was skipping meals for a time. So yea. I guess we'll never know. But it is intriguing indeed =)

Simple: The next time you two will meet it will be in the future when you both are older. She is going to ask if you are hungry and take you out to breakfast or brunch... thumbsup.gif

She is saying hello and misses you. She is somewhere in the supermarket selling food.
