Well i guess we all agree except for the person who made the dumb post to start with, I have yet to hear anything worth reading from them, so far all they have done is take cheap shots at Marduk and piss the rest of us off to boot, It's funny how even now there are people who still worship a made man, There is one point i would like to make to this person, I do not know how much, and i will guess not alot, knowledge of Germany and Hilter you do have, but you know your great leader is not by law, allowed to be talked about in germany, they have no docs, books or any other information on him, the children do not even learn about him in school! Do you even wounder why.

Greattenchim, have you even read my posts? In all of my posts I have sayd that I admire his smartness, not the fact he killed all those yews and did the awful things he did. Well, I would love to go back in time and see how America looked right after the Ice Age, the Plesotene (sp?) era, I believe it was called. When there were all these amazing, giant mammals like mastodons, short-faced bears, saber toothed cats, dire wolves, wooly rhinos... I think that would be so neat!
I would enjoy seeing a debate in Athens at Aristotle's Lyceum.
If I knew I wouldn't die from exposure or wild animals, I would love to have traveled with Lewis and Clark exploring the Northwest US, a la Sacajawea.
Finally, I would go back to Thanksgiving 1978 and see The Band's farewell concert. Yes, yes I would. Special guest: Neil Young, Dr. John, Bod Dylan, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, Joni Mitchell, etc. Wow!

The three Kingdom's Era, Third Century China...I'm an enthusiast of the era, and there are many important events there that I would like to see. Obviously, sanity prevents me from having any urge to actually participate in the battles (although I'm sure that a "white giant" would be an interesting addition to the legends of the times), there are various pivotal moments that are of interest to me.

I wouldn't mind watching the seige of Hou Lou Gate from a safe distance (going to the three kingdoms era and never seeing Lu Bu in combat would be like going to Disney Land and not seeing Mickey Mouse).

That and you have to have an abacus and three guys from MIT to explain the political situation alone associated with this time period.

That would be a pretty nice era to witness and I am familiar with it. A lot more people are probably more aware of it now because it's been advertised in a massive video game series, but I seriously doubt that it does the true battles justice.
I'd also like to be in the area when those disks with funny writing of which i'm suddenly forgeting the name of were made and see what the actual intended use was.

If you're refering to the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", I might hesitate to consider that an accurate historical source. Events were most likely heavily romantisised for the purpose of telling a story...although I'm sure that the basic facts remain much the same.
The games, by the way, are awesome, and what actually got me interested in the whole thing to begin with (I am quite feircly in love with Sun Shang Xiang), but I definately wouldn't trust them to give me a good historical account of the time....
Stll, there's always something satisfying about a single warrior slaughtering seven thousand enemy troops, and laughing all the while.

I agree with you i've had some ideas about this for years. There is no disputing some of the accounts as they are a matter of military record if you look close enough. Just don't know what to think.
