I don't see how it'd be able to explain ufo's. That shape is familiar, if people see it in the skies they'll know it's a plane, not something else. Pretty cool though.

Those engines are even impressive just mounted and run ona bench!

That thing moves so well. You can tell its using jet engines by its acceloration on the ground and how quickly it climbs.

That video clip is quite explainable. An unidentified Flying Object is when you saw something and could not make out what it was. You know every plane, jet, and all helicopter, if you will, but this one you saw could not identify. I have seen one and I don't want to say anything about it because I have no credit to back me up.

What next...? Flying dishwashers...

Because you can make a model airplane that DOES not mean you can built a UFO. They operate on different principles. I am not sure what kind of logic led you to that conclusion, but I don't have to think about this....you do.

well, if you could build a mini jet and fly it by remote control, you could , if you had the $$$,, build a round object that flys? - the little boy next door bought a cheap (under $20.00) foam ufo that went , maybe 150 feet and you could could fly it around will little or no control.

but the thing did fly, so...

if you spent more money, used a way better parts and electronics..

maybe even a little wireless cam, some hi capacity NiMh batterys, and a micro gyro off a mini rc electric helicopter you could almost fly the thing from sitting at your computer via some super simple DOS Basic program. of course you would need to find a older National Instruments D/A ISA card and take maybe a good futaba R/C 5 channel heli controller and conect it to the national Instruments card..

blah blah and write the basic code or , you could use ms visual basic to access and interface the futaba unit.,

but i figure that if i could prob make this with a help of a few others and some money... don't you think some person, maybe just one? on the face of this earth with money with help has all ready done so? ie. companys, gov mil?

so .. getting a disc to fly is no big deal.. My electric rc helicopter was quiet, went real high, so high you almost cant see it and crash it. , you put a cam on it and view wireless video for way cheap, and fly the thing from looking at a monitor and just doing it.,

and this might explain maybe a few, not all of the recent ufo sightings?
an software + gps can make flying objects, fly kind of like flying perfect objetcs?

My eyes are 25/25. I saw it about a whole football field away. It was pretty clear visual, mind you. The sky's crystal blue and it was during the lunch time. I have seen every details of it. I'm pretty sure everyone can see it. I am not the only one who saw it. My mom was with me when it happened. She was not believer, now she's a believer, but she doesn't like to discuss about it. That's real misfortunate. Pm me if you're curious what I saw. I don't think I will have a problem answering that, I think.

So what really happened at Roswell, Rendlesham forest, Shag harbour, Varginha Brazil and many more crashed landed U.F.O sites around the world, was infact a remote controlled flying grass mower..? hee hee

the easy answer is ufo's but what if all of it was just our govenment playing with technology? and to cover it up... what better scare tactic? aliens?

Mr. Dpss, I think, is saying that a model aircraft , not this one, could be responsible for recent UFO sightings. Not this particular one though. A craft can be built by anyone with the fiscal resources and aeronautical know-how to spoof some of us. Not to mention the people that witness such a display real-time and think the world is coming to an end.

I had a gas-powered model airplane as a teen (nothing like this one I'm afraid) but it was quite loud. Perhaps if it was a larger craft viewed from far away the idea could be more plausible.

I have no doubt that many have been fooled by such craft..! But for most of us that post in the ufo threads and are enthusiastic about the subject it's a pure joke.
I mean when I stumbled into this site I was looking up imformation on Rendlesham forest incident, a close encounter witnessed by high ranking U.S milatary at a nuclear base in Suffolk England..! I doubt for one moment they thought they were witnessing the pranks of a model aircraft enthusiast..!
