Just because you haven't had any psychical contact with the Ouija doesn't mean it's not working. It could simply be opening a realm where entity's could enter your home.

If youre trying to use a ouija board and its not working, then it could be because youre not in the right mind set. You have to be serious when using one. Or it could be that youve just been unlucky the past few times youve tried. Remember, it doesnt work single time.

As for the lights dimming or flickering or whatever, it could quite possibly be that somethings wrong with the light bulbs or the wiring of the lights. Its not uncommon. You may want to check that out.

Yep. Is your house old? You said you'd been there 18 yrs? I'm thinking wiring. I live in an old home and the lights flicker all the time. If this has never happened before, what's different now? Is there any kind of construction going on around your neighborhood. The city's working on the road outside my office, and since they've been digging and messing with wires and whatnot, our lights flicker sometimes. Or could it be a problem with the actual electric company? There are so many things that could cause this that I'm not even gonna try to list them all here. Just step outside and take a look around. Read the paper and see if there may be a problem locally. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, though. thumbsup.gif

I agree with others who say it is undoubtedly a problem with your lights - as that seems to be the only clue you have.

Bad wiring, or power surges, or something.
Loonboy

Possibly it's not wiring but more to do with the actual power supply. Supplies of electricity are not as steady or constant as we often assume - that's why we have power surge protection on pcs and other sensitive electronic equipment.

Are there any other paranormal indications of a presence - smells, noises, movements of objects etc?
