John 20:19: "when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst..."...creepy.

I have another one by searching the old dusty bible:Deuteronomy 32:17: "They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up..."
...uncanny and there is something about the shaking of the bed..

that is creepy.

Luke 24:38

"Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is myself! Touch me and see a ghost does not have flesh and bones as I have"

Jesus spoke to the disciples as he came to them after being risen.

I know this really isn't a ghost scripture but it is similiar. grin2.gif

Leviticus 19:31 Do not turn to ghosts and do not inquire of familiar spirits to be defiled by them: I eternal am your creator.

Leviticus 20:27 A medium or a wizard--whether man or woman--shall surely be stoned to death. They have caused their own doom.

Deuteronomy 18:9-13 When you arrive in the Promised Land you must be very careful lest you be corrupted by the horrible customs of the nations now living there. For example, any Israeli who presents his child to be burned to death as a sacrifice to heathen gods must be killed. No Israeli may practice black magic, or call on the evil spirits for aid, or be a fortune teller, or be a serpent charmer, medium, or wizard, or call forth the spirits of the dead. Anyone doing these things is an object of horror and disgust to yhwy. And it is because these nations do these things, that eternal your sovereign will displace them. You must walk blamelessly before eternal your sovereign.

Genesis 6...if you can call that ghosts (well, in old times unclean spirits were thought to be the nephilim, belief that was lost in our times). I beleive Ecclesiastes had something on revenants created for specific purposes on earth (but that could be from the apocryphal ecclesiasticus...don't remember).

I don't have a Bible handy for chapter and verse, but I've always enjoyed the tale of Saul summoning the spirit of Samuel for guidance..And basically being told by him to "Get bent".. tongue.gif
