I had an experience recently where I felt a member of a forum (a different one) was being affected by negative energy - perhaps demonic in nature.

She works in a 'haunted' location which is known for its negative paranormal experiences - and mediums claim it to be inhabited with tortured and trapped souls.

This particular forum I mention has a feel to it - where people who express opinions in opposition to the long term members - they are often banned or made to feel unwelcome, and members often say the forum brings out the worst in them.

I feel that there could be a negative demonic energy controlling this forum, through the ones that have done ghost tours to this particular location.

Think this is possible?

After all people do healing over the net etc. So Energies must travel through cyber space.

In any forum you are going to get some strange ones and you may not like the vibe they give. Thats besides the point as far as demons go, I think thats a bit far fetched. If a demon can get you through your comp then you better stop using your phone,t.v., e-mail yaya, newspaper or radio.

You create your own demons so you know them well

I have to agree with the Silver Thong, i do not believe a web sight can give you neg engery, nor can you heal over the web, i think maybe you are miss reading things, creepy people are just that no matter where you meet them

I think that you feel negative energy from the certain forum because you feel hated. You said that people feel unwanted or unwelcome when they contradict with long term members. Well, obviously they will feel that way because the long term members will treat you like crud.

I'm not being biased, its just that I don't think there is anything haunted about an online forum...even as a ghost believer.

if you are in a forum the makes you feel unwelcome, well don't go back to it...... I'v been a fairly quite member here,but read a hell of alot of threads haha, and I can tell you (won't mention names) that 99 % of the guys and gals here are pretty cool and debates,arguments and disagreements are frequent but all with respect.

I don't think she was saying that the forum site itself was possessed or under demonic influence, but that some of the long-time posters there might be, which IMO is entirely possible. I also don't think she meant that those under demonic influence could be sending their "demon-ness" out to others, but that their actions toward others were influenced by their "demon-ness". If that were the case then, yes, negativity would have a field day there, don't you think?

If negativity had anything to do with this we would all be toast.. You are talking about a ghost in a machine. demon-ness do all people have this? or just the ones that don't fit into your norm.

Edit...by the way....I don't recall anyone here stating that ALL negativity EVERYWHERE was demonic at source, for crying out loud. But some, somewhere, could be. It's a good idea to actually read what people say before making rediculous comments.

I think people sometimes do not like new members, they get use to just each other, and are rude to those they do not know,i bet its more that then demons or evil on another form, there rudeness only makes you feel that way,thats just what i think

I am saying if one person is being influenced by a negative energy and inviting others to 'investigate' the premises that the negative influence is in - then could that group of people see good people as bad and bad people as good.

Anyone that contradicts 'the entity' which is now my humourous nick name for that forum - is blasted.

Just because someone is being unpleasant online that doesn't mean he is possessed or anything. I am not sure what you mean by "sensing negative energies" but quite frankly unless you have something of substance I am not sure what is you point. There are many instances and places that make people feel a bit "aerie" and maybe you just became a bit too empathic with the people on the forum?

The only demons that would take over this website/forum would be a hacker or virus writers. I honestly don't think a demon could just possess a website.
