Remember one thing! Don't go on and on just one thing ONLY!

I guess I would also say, thanks for trying. This situation can't be easily dealt with. I know it's fashionable to dislike/hate/bludgeon Mr. Bush right now but I still can't jump on that bandwagon. The anti-American propaganda is becoming a bit tiresome, much like the rantings of PETA groups. I find it ironic that people who align themselves with a message of peace and equality can be so hateful towards an entire country and the folks that just happened to be born there because of one man.
Edit; sorry for the run-on sentence.

Please don't equate not being the greatest fan of Bush with anti-Americanism; all i can really comment about concerning him is the situation in Iraq in which we're involved as well, and my criticisms of him there are more to do with the lack of foresight and planning for what to do once Saddam was defeated; believe me, i have nothing but the greatest admiration for what America and Britain have done together.

WOW!!! ive never seen so many democrates in one room!!! HAHAHA
anyways, guys, you gotta think about it, hes protectin us... if he wasnt wed have so much terrorism in USA it wouldn't be funny... like there would be so many 9/11 attacks.. right when that happend he charged them... yeah they make threats still, but they dont do anything to us...
They sit in a cave underground and make threats, because if they peak there heads out... POP there head and towel falls of hahahha...
But it sucks to because the media is all democtatic.. all you hear about is the dead marines, they never tell us how many terrorists we kill, its like if the media pronounced all the dead terrosits WOW..... lol
anyways, over all i think he did a good job!!!!
GO BUSH!!! is one thing id say to him.. and hes doing a good job.

P.S!!!
Overall, i feel a lot safer with Bush as President, you can't go and pull off a 9/11 without suffering consequences for your actions... Even though we never found WMD's in Iraq that doesn't mean they were never there, and if your going to harbor Terrorists like those behind 9/11 in your country, your just as bad as them. People seem to forget how we felt in the months following 9/11, sure nobody wants a war and sending troops into battle is a hard decision, but you can't just sit on the sidelines and let Taliban bastards chop away at our Country"..There getting what they deserved.

Most people I know who support president Bush do so because their values have been influenced by their parents, because it is the older generations who seem to still be absorbed in his power.
If George Bush didn't have a rich and powerful family, and unofficial birthright to presidency, there is no way he would have cut it. He's an incredibly stupid man.
Here's a link which shows some reflection of how much of an idiot he is. Scroll down and check out his quotes:

this topic reminds me of a wise quote from a Marine that was having lunch and John Kerry walked up to him and started to talk to him. The Marine replied to him by saying something like "Sir, I repect you as a Senator, but as a man I do not".
the wisdom in this saying is that even if you dont like Dubya as a man, he is still our Commander and Chief.

No connection.
Iraq - Toppling a vicous dictator who killed, and would continue to kill, millions.
Terrorism (9/11) - Bush had the guts to stand up to it where as evrey other president just side-stepped it.
747400
Jun 26 2005, 07:58 AM
If toppling Saddam had been the reason, up front and on the table, then i'd probably have supported it : if only we could do the same for a few others around the world, i sometimes think. But the war was fought under false pretences : WMDs, terrorism - Saddam had never had any connection with terrorism, he and Bin Laden were ideological enemies. That's the problem as i see it.
PadawanOsswe
Jun 26 2005, 08:00 AM
Damn right Walken, I myself belive that there were and possibly are WMD's in Iraq (search for the secret Jihad stash), and it wouldnt suprise me if Saddam was working with Al-Queda cause he is just as evil as bin laden .
Walken
Jun 26 2005, 08:00 AM
Well look at it this way -
President Bush receives intelligence that Iraq was building or had built WMD's.
If he had ignored this then in three years time they started firing nukes here and there, can you imagine the consequences?
He was in a no-win situation. You cannot ignore that kind of intelligence. But Likewise, you can't expect evreyone to immediatley understand that.
PadawanOsswe
Jun 26 2005, 08:03 AM
the only way to peace with these enemies is by fighting them. a lot of people dont understand that
because fueled by hatred and dedication they dont plan on signing a treaty. Saddam had more than a decade to get his s*** together and he didnt so he brought this upon himself.
Walken
Jun 26 2005, 08:05 AM
Exactly - There is an old expression: Peace, Roman style.
The romans used war to obtain peace. They crushed resistance and threats through battles and through them came peace.
The same applys here, no?
PadawanOsswe
Jun 26 2005, 08:08 AM
I belive the same apply's, if you crush the enemies before they attack then there is peace. the only way to world peace is by crushing threats constantly.
747400
Jun 26 2005, 08:18 AM
'The war must be a last resort, all peaceful means of finding a solution having failed' : that's always been the basis of Christian ethics, but i do agree that if we could stop things from developing further (like with Hitler in the 1930s), it might save a whole lot worse in the long term. It's the way that far from stopping terrorism, the situation in Iraq has made it become a training ground for terrorists, that why i think that it's been counterproductive.
Sorry, we're turning this into a bit of a debate aren't we?!

I have never even said this here before but here we go. This war should not even be a war anymore. For instance the war in Iraq should be between allied forces and Iraqi military. It's not though, now allied forces are fighting an invisible enemy; freedom fighters who blow themselves up and take as many lives with them as possible. No uniforms identify these people as they kill their own countrymen along with volunteers from the west. How do you fight that?
So I say again, Mr. Bush, please let my friends and everyone else come home very soon. I have been an avid supporter of the GOP and you, President Bush, so please let them come home.
