Wow, that's amazingly detailed. Finding my street was awesome in itself, but I found my auntie's farm and she lives half an hour drive from the nearest civilization.....

Here's one that's more detailed, it does satelite(sp) imagery to make very detailed maps
Terraserver On the left side, type in your address and it should give you a very detailed pic

Tis a wonderful map, it would be most useful if I invent that random matter transporter, where it randomly transports you anywhere in the world.
Oops.... Now someone will beat me too it..... Or perhaps we will invent it at the same time, and Ill randomly be transported to where they are... and steal it.....

I look up an address where I grew up outside of Chicago in the 70's and I'll be I found an image of the house from 2002. I can even see the in ground pool that I helped my dad build. I am kind of weepy over it. It is a very cool site thanx.

Anybody tried out World Wind yet? It's fantastic; basically you have a globe, and you can zoom in on everywhere and see satelilite images !
