How much is a gallon of petrol in the US? All I is its about 80p for a litre over here and im not sure of the exchange between metric and imperial measurements (I'll have to look it up)

I was in DC last week and we saw it in PA somewhere for 1.99... there was a line backed up just to get into the place. I read somewhere that gas prices are going to be up around 2.50 around the weekend of the fourth. How irritating.

Here's the difference tho between gas and all that stuff mentioned earlier... I never go out and buy 16 gallons of nyquil or Peptobismol... but I DO buy 16 gallons of gas, and that means I'm shelling out $40 by the weekend of the fourth, and guess what.... I do that three times a week sometimes!!

Here in southern Cali gas is about $2.40/gallon. Who would want to buy 16 gallons of Pepto Bismol? Must have a really bad stomach

water? for the love of god why is bottled water so damn expensive? its just water!

No kidding... a couple times a week I have to spend a 1.25 on a water bottle so I am not dying of thirst in class. I just keep on refilling the bottle. You can't tell me a bottom and lable themselves cost a 1.25 when people are giving water away free!

buy yourself a nalgene bottle. the soft plastic bottles leech into the water ( ironic actually that you pay for "clean" water and get it in a bottle leeching chemicals into it).
