We were having PACE (gifted language arts) and we didn't have anything to do, and we were talking about paranormal/ghost things/scary things. My subsitute teacher decided she was going to tell us a story of what happened when she was in college. So she did. And this is how it went:
As I said this happened when she was in college. Actually, it was the summer after her first year of college. She went out to the middle of nowhere with some of her friends. They were staying at an old rented house I think. In the house next to them were some guys their age.
About the house. I said before that it's in the middle of nowhere. And I was serious. Behind her house there was some railroad tracks that were long ago no longer used. Behind that was a marsh. Her nearest neighbors(besides the guys next to her) were miles away. It was a very subdued place.
They were having a great time at the house. For a while. Then they started getting the calls. My subsitute does not remember exactly what the man was saying, but she does remember that it was something about him standing on the railroad tracks, watching their every move. That would be pretty scary, and they obviously thought so too. They checked to see if he really was on the tracks, and didn't see anyone. Still they were frightened, so they locked the windows and doors. Everything went well for some time.
A couple weeks later, my subsitute was coming back from getting groceries and found the door locked. She was mad, because they usually leave it open since there was nobody around. She had to set down her groceries and fumble around for her key. She finally got in and was ready to scream at her roomates, when she looked around, and saw them all on the stairs, holding baseball bats. Even the guys from next door were there. She asked them what happened. Well, apparently, one of the girls had opened the door to let there dog out. A few minutes later she heard the dog whining outside. It sounded very scared so she opened the door. As the dog ran in, she looked out and saw a man standing on her porch. She screamed and they called the guys over.
So all in all, my sub was standing outside, fumbling for her keys, and that weird guy might have been there watching her. They left soon after, but nothing else happened while they were still there. Yet, they couldn't shake off the feeling that the guy was out there. Watching them.
