This might seem weird. The thing is I can see lightning outside but there is no sound of thunder.The lightning is on one spot and it looks like a circular saw is hitting metal and creating sparks, Dracula could be alive or Einstein is alive building something. I just see flickers in the sky!

Does anybody have an idea why this is happening?

Light moves faster than sound, and the sound probably rowns out if the lightning's far away.

Hadn't thought of that one. The lightning been moving around and giving big flickering flashes lighting up the sky, I don't think it's getting any closer or farther away though.

I think it is heat lightning, we have had a lot of sun lately.
