anyone know what the error 0x80072F76 means? cant get window update site to work! running xp with sp2 and i am fully paatched from site as this date! but automic update appears to be downloading a large update! right of this min! i hope someone can help!

i also get the same error. becoming worst cannot open yahoo mail...
and receiver of yahoo messenger get message " behind firewall" eventhough it is already off...

It tends to happen a lot with zone alarm. If you're running zone alarm of any type, don't only disable it, but turn it totally off. Then go to the windows update site, download all the updates and let them install -- hopefully they'll install without error.

If so, turn zone alarm back on and the error shouldn't show back up.
