the first dream would have been a good omen in my opinion. I have had many werewolf dreams all of them made me feel good. Now as for the vampire dream perhaps that was an ancestor that was bitten. blink.gif You could be a combination of the two species. You know like in underworld. tongue.gif
Falco Rex
You got freaked out because a dream didn't seem real? They're not really supposed to, in general..
Reality=Real life
Dreams= Not real life
See? Simple..

You would have thought it was simple, but obviously a lot of people still have a hard time differenciating the two.
Falco Rex
True enough, Ed..
What gets me even more than the vagueness of the original post, though, is Brother_werewolfs' attempt at an explanation..
How in the world to you take four lines of barely descriptive post and turn it into a theory of vampire/werewolf familial relations? Has all capacity to use reason and logic really fled so far away from so many?
Even if you do hold beliefs that some may consider to be "Out there" why does that seem to preclude the use of basic deductive reasoning in many cases?
A dream is just that unless there's a good amount of evidence to suggest otherwise. And this story wasn't fleshed out in enough detail for anybody to even begin to speculate that it wasn't..

Brother_werewolf
I seriously apologize man but connecting a dream with an ancestor is what I do to alot of the other druid's kids just to give them "the willies". And you opened yourself to one of these things lol. and i'm sorry you wasted a rant.

Dreams are just messages from your conscience...
...it is always some sort of riddle.

In your first dream I can't find a real clue...
...but i've got a little explanation for the 2nd.
(The descriptions are a bit short)

The shadow person obvious stands for some kind of problem/fear...
It is slowly sucking up your energy/time, but you can't resist it...

You scream but there's no sound, this means you can't get help from others...
...for solving this problem, you have to find the solution on your own.

Just my conclusion...

D. knows a lot about dreaming...
...he does it every night himself!

The second dream just sounds like sleep paralysis. Your mind just came up with the excuse that it was a vampire.
isis-999
That could be true, but i know a pyschic vampire, and they do this as well.. hmm.gif

It doesn't sound creepy now, but I know that during the time even the most mundane of nightmares can scare the living crap out of you.

But I don't think it 'means' anything. They were just nightmares. Little puzzles your brain made up while you slept. Don't worry about it.

I feel driven to share a nightmare that at the time scared me ######...

I was at my friend's house, and it was fairly late, about two in the morning. We were watching TV and all that good stuff when for some reason he looked out the window.

He said "Hey, come over here and check this out."

I looked out the window and saw a doll standing upright on his mailbox. It was like one of those dolls little girls have. I said it was strange, but nothing to get worked up about.

We continued watching TV when later on he looked out the window again. Again, he wanted me to look too. I saw the doll, except it was off the mailbox and on his driveway; much closer to us. I was a little worried now, but just brushed it off and we continued watching TV.

A little while later he noticed a window in the kitchen was open.

"I thought this was closed," he said.

He stood up and walked a few paces before he froze. I stood up and saw what he was staring at. There, standing in the kitchen, was the doll. Only this time, it/she was holding a knife.

We stood there for a few seconds, and then the doll actually took a step toward us. We both screamed and ran. We were about halfway up the stairs when I looked behind and noticed the doll giving chase, and gaining.

We continued running, I turned around and noticed the doll right on our heels, holding knife with a wicked smile on its face. It was laughing. I peed my pants. (In the dream and in real life as I slept) We were about 10 feet from my friend's room when the doll jumped and slashed his heels with the knife. I grabbed him as he fell and dragged him as fast as I could into the room.

I slammed and locked the door. As he lay on the floor bleeding profusely, I attempted to call the police, but the phone wouldn't work. The doll was scratching at the door with the knife. At that moment, I woke up.

That was one of the scariest dreams I've ever had. sad.gif

It's strange, because I was more afraid of that dream than the few 'paranormal' experiences I've had in real life...

That's one seriously scary dream eveningsky......I would hate it if a rabid girls doll about 11 inches high tried to stab me with a knife.... no.gif

BTW I'm not taking the mickey.Seriously.A doll is on of the most harmless things in the mortal realm, and one trying to kill you is no laughing matter.

One of the scariest dreams i've ever had....

I was running down stone corridors with lots of doors with no handles. There were only small square windows, 1 on each side of the corridor. There was only a constant moaning coming frfom behind me. I turned around and I saw shadow, grey in colour moving toward me. I was frozen to the spot.

The shadow then came within 5 feet of me.I realized it had the figure of a grey-skined man in it crawling towards me, moaning. Then, I just turned and ran like the wind. The moaning got louder and quicker.I looked behind me and the man was directly in my face, about 2 inches away. That's when I woke up.

Hey, Tormented... I understand how you must feel about frightening vampire/werewolf dreams, I've actually had many of those myself. And I too have had dreams of a boy who was vampire also. Actually frequently since, 2000 I've had several dreams of vampires, sometimes in the dream I see a man with dark hair, dressed in black attire. His hair is short and he looks to be in his late 20's, I don't recognize him at all, but when I see him in the dream, he is surrounded by other people dressed in cultish/dark attire and they swarm around him, touching him like he is some type of god like figure to be worshipped. When I have those dreams, it's always in a location I have never seen or been to. Those vampyric dreams are so visually realistic, not like the usual type of dream, fragmented and somewhat foggy at times; but more like an awake type of dream, that's as best as I can describe it anyway. 0_o

The most terrifying dream I've ever had was the following:

I woke up (in the dream mind you) and looked around at what honest to god looked like Hell. I got up and started to walk around I could feel the heat and smell the sulfur. I continued to walk until I saw a man in heavy metal armor with what looked like a bear pelt on his back that he was using as a cape. He had a helmet with horns on top of it and he was holding a huge black sword in his hand like it weighed nothing then he toke off his helmet and revealed his face. It was that of a human, but charred as if he had survived as fire! He then grabbed my shoulders and openned his mouth and gave out a weezing, whisper like scream! Then I woke up.
