It doesn't sound creepy now, but I know that during the time even the most mundane of nightmares can scare the living crap out of you.
But I don't think it 'means' anything. They were just nightmares. Little puzzles your brain made up while you slept. Don't worry about it.
I feel driven to share a nightmare that at the time scared me ######...
I was at my friend's house, and it was fairly late, about two in the morning. We were watching TV and all that good stuff when for some reason he looked out the window.
He said "Hey, come over here and check this out."
I looked out the window and saw a doll standing upright on his mailbox. It was like one of those dolls little girls have. I said it was strange, but nothing to get worked up about.
We continued watching TV when later on he looked out the window again. Again, he wanted me to look too. I saw the doll, except it was off the mailbox and on his driveway; much closer to us. I was a little worried now, but just brushed it off and we continued watching TV.
A little while later he noticed a window in the kitchen was open.
"I thought this was closed," he said.
He stood up and walked a few paces before he froze. I stood up and saw what he was staring at. There, standing in the kitchen, was the doll. Only this time, it/she was holding a knife.
We stood there for a few seconds, and then the doll actually took a step toward us. We both screamed and ran. We were about halfway up the stairs when I looked behind and noticed the doll giving chase, and gaining.
We continued running, I turned around and noticed the doll right on our heels, holding knife with a wicked smile on its face. It was laughing. I peed my pants. (In the dream and in real life as I slept) We were about 10 feet from my friend's room when the doll jumped and slashed his heels with the knife. I grabbed him as he fell and dragged him as fast as I could into the room.
I slammed and locked the door. As he lay on the floor bleeding profusely, I attempted to call the police, but the phone wouldn't work. The doll was scratching at the door with the knife. At that moment, I woke up.
That was one of the scariest dreams I've ever had.
It's strange, because I was more afraid of that dream than the few 'paranormal' experiences I've had in real life...
