Please. That part of the world is full of liars in politics, and everywhere.

I have looked into this business before. Mexico is renowned for a healthy
balloon trade- helium balloons. They can release a thousand at a time, at a political rally. If they keep them tethered together, they look like a 'fleet of ufos'.
And that is often done. I have seen too many videos of this.

They push this off, to generate tourism. Locally, it can spell publicity for the official, whose appearance the ufos decided to grace.

In Mexico, the term is bagass, or what fuels the fire in sugar production.

These are chump change, compared to real ufo sightings, which do go on.
I saw a video, shot by a JPL engineer of a ufo object. It was identicle to one reported, in Mexico. I do not think the engineer's video is on the internet, at this time.

BTW, there are news videos available, but they are over 100 Mb, typically, and you don't need that. Here's a frame-

One point to look at is that ballons filled with helium, do not move in streight lines, nor do they suddenly stop and and start to decend. We can see these objects and we can see them moving at speeds a ballon could never do, we see 180 degree turns.

A single or a few ballons would not be spotted by radar, a trained fighter piolets would not chase a ballon from a festival. The explanation is well for some to much to comprehend,or refuse to accept.
