There are thousands of astronomers and astronomy students watching the skies constantly, but most of the so called sightings are by people who do NOT generally spend their time staring at the skies through telescopes.
It is more likely any "aliens" seen are the product of human genetic experiments carried on after world war 2. And the space ships are more than likely military aircraft from THIS world. And the crop circles? Testing of small unmanned robotic saucers designed for espionage. Precision patterns programmed into these small devices. And the ancient symbols seen from the sky a product of ancient hot air balloon flights of those ancient HUMANS.

Then I guess awkward probing is just the government testing your pH while you sleep?

I'm not sure, If you are saying alien's dont exist, but if so that is very narrow minded. In the vast amount of space there has to be a planet similar to earth, where life evolves just as it does here.
When it comes to the scientists looking for the aliens. Perhaps they are looking a little to deep into space. Could it be the aliens hang out closer to Earth, or maybe even on Earth.
Scientists choose what to reveal, and so do certain governments. If contact with alien's has been made. We certainly wouldn't know about it. The widespread panic would cause more damage than anything the aliens could do themselves. Our simple minds would feel threatened if we found an intelligent species or more intelligent species causing us to riot, and kill eachother.

No, no, no. The theory you have conjured up, godmessenger, is even more ridiculous than the idea aliens come to our planet, but don't make contact or war.
In my mind, aliens definitely exist, whether they come to the planet or not is the question I wish I knew the answer to. You obviously don't know a lot about WW2 if you think aliens are a result of genetic experimentation.

I think such explainations for aliens, etc have already been presented. It is possible that craft built by the government could explain several sightings, but not all. I am just blown away at the distance aliens would have to travel to reach our planet (why they want to do that, I don't know).
The nearest star is 40,000 lightyears away, I believe. And I seriously, seriously doubt any intelligent life lives there. So we're talking over 40,000 lightyears to get here, going at the speed of light, of course. However there is a problem with that too.
Albert Einstein made a mathematical theory that, in a nutshell, the mass of objects increase as their speed increases. So going at lightspeed the craft and its occupants would be several times bigger than travelling at a less extreme speed. I read somewhere that the occupants' heads would explode, but that's kinda wierd so I'm just going to say they won't.
So they are travelling at lightspeed, several times their normal size. Not pretty. Oh, did I mention it would take them 40,000 years to arrive? What are they gonna do, eat their own sh*t when they run out of food?
Some have suggested that these extraterrestrials are some how able to bend the fabric of space, like in the novel "A Wrinkle In Time". Black Holes, in reality, are not holes at all. However they do bend the fabric of space to near the breaking point. This would be one of the only reasonable explainations as to how extraterrestrials would get here. For whatever reason.
I believe the theory of evolution is hogwash, however I am open to the suggested that God may have created life elsewhere.
By the way, shouldn't this be in the Extraterrestrial part of the forum?

The closest star system is 4.3 light years away, not 40,000. That's about 7 or 8 trillion miles.

yea! ok maybe you need more sleep, and oh yell the goverment's not going to tell you anything unless they are landing, and unless alien's were blond and blue eyed; they would have been safe from Hilter

the whole concept is rediculous
i thought everyone knew that "ufo" technology as WE know it was nazi developed war tools which was taken by the russians at the end of ww2 before the nazis could implement it. one thing led to another now america uses the technology and lets the public imagination run wild with all this bs alien crap to distract them for whats REALLY happening.
or so the story goes.

I'd be pretty hard to see a UFO while looking into a telescope, Because you're zoomed into one area. Even if a UFO did happen to pass by while you were looking into your telescope, It would just be a bright light for all of a split second since the telescope enlarges it greatly.

Going on Einstein's theorys is all well and good but that is basing it on us....how are we to know what another species is capable of....or is it that since we don't know how neither can they? Maybe they are built so different from us that they can easily travel at such high speeds. Maybe they have found some sort of portal from one area to another like a black hole? who knows I don't and you don't right? it's all speculation, why be so negative about it? are you so afraid that there might be something that you have no choice but to make fun of the it?

I'm not making fun of "it". What made you think that? And if they are built so differently from us, why are virtually all the sightings of extraterrestrials claim they are humanoid?

I said that in my post.

I'm not afraid of "aliens" or the "craft" they travel in. If they do exist then oh my gosh it's the end of the universe we're all gonna die. What's to be afraid of?

Lol...sorry about that...

I don't think you can entirely rule out the possibility. Human genetic exsperiments? Right, ok, and Hitler's still alive right?

Sorry, not likely.
The point is that aliens HAVE been spoken of for centuries in text, writings, etc. So, like I said, I wouldn't entirely rule out the posibility there.

Aliens have been coming for millions of years. It's a scientific fact, they're coming from over the border.
