sometimes a part of my body starts "pulsing" at the rythm of my heartbeat, i never really worried cos i tought that wasnt so abnormal until one day when i was in the bathroom washing my hands, i started to feel it again, this time in a part of my face, then i looked to the mirror and there i saw it: a tiny part of my face was pulsing, i could easily see it and it was pretty weird, i touched it and i felt and heard the beat easyer, i could sense that that part of my face was weird on the inside, like there was something "tangled" in there, like the other times it hapened it stoped after a while, weirder then that was one time that i felt my soul pulsing, it's a little dificult to describe it but i felt like i was rising and somehow getting out of my body and i started to feel my "soul" instead of my body, it was like my soul was trying to get out of my body. pretty weird.
i would like to know if anybody here had any kind of similar experience or know what this is.

Unless it makes you nauseous or causes you pain I wouldn't worry about it.

It sounds very much like muscle spasms. I have a chronic condition called fibromyalgia. It is an illness that affects the muscles and muscle spasms are frequent with it. I get them quite often, on an almost daily basis. They are like you describe and do seem to pulse with my heartbeat. It is common to actually see the muscles contracting, especially in areas like the face where the muscles are close to the surface. Some muscle spasms (especially those in large muscles) can be very painful, but others just feel light and fluttery, like a butterfly's wings beating. It would be worth seeing a doctor to find out if there could be an underlying condition causing them, if this is indeed your problem.

I often experience this at random times, normally my hand starts to pulse, im not sure what could cause this, maybe a certain part of your body needs blood quickly, so it gets pumped at high speeds? Im not sure, but it tingles, not hurts, me.

I get this quite alot (and yes you can both see it and feel) it. It's not paranormal, just muscle spasms I'd imagine. No idea what causes it though, but your soul leaving you body isn't likely to be one of them.

I guess they are spasms as I get them frequently.

Then How does Mucles Spasms help to explain Bahamut_0's 'Soul' pulsating? The soul is not a muscle lol

True. The soul isn't a muscle. It's electrical energy. And on that topic, I'm looking for someone willing to do a experiment on that. I asked in the S&S section but no one's quite up for what it takes.

Out of curiosity, what exactly WOULD that take? And what kind of experiment did you have in mind? hehe.

I get that in my legs and shoulders some times. They used to be rather frequent actualy, but I haven't had them for a month anymore... Since they weren't painful I didn't really care but I looked out fibromyalgia now and I'm having doupts. I think I might have the sleeping disorder symptom though I can't be sure of that. I usually am wake at nights and sleep at day so that might be it but one day I went asleep 1:00 AM and I woke up at 14:30 so this was about 13 hours of sleep, but when I woke up I was extremely tired and I was sleepy a big part of the day. I experince tiredness all the time, but my lifestyle supports that I suppose... If I get the spasms again then I might even go see a doctor. I have no muscle pain, that is the main reason I don't suspect fibromyalgia that much. The tired day of 13 hours of sleep is probably because I usually go to bed at 5 AM or later and my body wasn't used to it...

It sounds like harmless muscle spasms?
I have heard they can get serious. But if it stays harmless don’t worry about it.
Ashley star child about your research project. Will it be fun?
If the answer is yes. I might be interested

I get muscle spasms sometimes. Doesn't feel like my soul is trying to leave my body or feel as if something was squirming in there.. that's just creepy.

Ok, the experiment requires (and this is one reason I had no takers) testing the amount of electrical energy in the room when someone (or an animal, they too have souls) dies. I suggested a hospital room with the proper equipment testing the energy in the room before, during and after the person dies. What should happen is that an extra level of electrical energy should be released in the room when the person dies. Probably not anyone's idea of fun though.....
Obviously, I doubt anyone is actually going to want to do this (I personally don't either), so there was another alternative. Go to a suspected haunted area and check for the electrical energy found at the time it's being 'haunted' and the soul/spirit/etc is there.
Any other ideas on how to test this are welcome of course.

I've actually felt something like the 'soul pulsing' before. It's weird. Like my heart's beating quickly, but I then realize it isn't that... And I don't think it's muscle spasms because it's ALL OVER my body and I'd say it feels more soulish than physical. Perhaps it has something to do with fatigue; most of the times I've felt it, I've been tired or getting ready to go to sleep...

I've been away for quite some time so i apologize that i didn't answered before, i do believe that the body pulsing is just muscles spams, but the soul pulsing is a different thing, its more like u feel a amazing amount of energy coming out of your body, when that happens i feel unbelieveble power, yes i know how that sounds ridiculous but i'm just saying what i feel.
Yamihimitsuno Kuroe when that hapens dont u feel like u control both your body and your soul but in a fraction of seconds they're in diferent places? I myself never tought it was my heart beating quickly.
EDITED:Yamihimitsuno Kuroe... nice name, what does it means?
Hypertension??

hope not!

Link? Can't tell the players without a program.

I would be quite interested in what you would like to be up to . . . might even be willing to participate if it isn't too costly.
