Yeah, all of the Pythons are alive and well except for Graham Chapman who died of spinal cancer on October 4, 1989. Its sad to think about. =( John Cleese's eulogy for him was very nice. I have a clip downloaded, but I know where a full transcript is if anyone wants to read it.

The Monty Python team is compiling a new six-part series of old clips and new material.
Each of the five remaining members of the madcap troupe will write and present their own special episode.
John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Terry Jones will collaborate on a sixth episode to honour the late Graham Chapman.
"They have all chosen their favourite bits from old Python films and the television series and linked them together in their own crazy way," a spokesman said.
The episodes are being filmed at various locations. Palin chose to do his at Teddington Lock in London while Idle's was shot at the Hollywood Bowl in California.
Monty Python's Personal Best will be screened on PBS in the US next year. A deal has not yet been made for broadcast in the UK or Australia.
American audiences first discovered Monty Python after PBS obtained the rights to the sketch series Monty Python's Flying Circus from the BBC in the 1970s and its popularity shows no signs of waning.
Spamalot, Eric Idle's Broadway musical based on 1975 hit Monty Python and the Holy Grail, has wowed critics and swept the board at awards ceremonies, picking up three Tonys last month, including best musical.

I think that they have started showing Monty Pythons Flying Circus on Paramount, just incase anyone is interested.
I have not really seen any of them, just some sketches from a few of them. It is a shame really. I haven't seen any DVD sales of the sketches, maybe I haven't looked hard enough.

While in the spirit of recommending stuff...
If you enjoy reading, I highly recommend you go out and buy these books:
Graham Chapman: A Liar's Autobiography
or
The Python's Autobiography by The Pythons
Both are fantastic books! The Python's Autobiography weighs 7 pounds too. Haha. Its a big one. Graham's book is my favorite of the two though.

We aren't as fortunate in Australia as you lucky sods over there. Assuming I can find a record shop that can import it, I'm still looking at forking over twice as much money as a regular cd because of shipping. ANd I'm just way to poor to spend fifty or sixty bucks on a CD, no matter how good it is.
