Now that the Nintendo DS is out Nintendo has also announced that it is making a new version of it's Game boy Advance which will be called the Game Boy Micro it's about the same size as an Apple I-Pod. My question is will Nintendo continue making games for it's new Game Boy Micro portable system?

It's the same as a Game Boy Advance, of course they'll make games!

Here is waht it looks like.
It's just a smaller Game Boy advanced.
Games are the same the backwards compatabiblty is gone.
It's not saupposed to compete with the PSP, it's just a vanity item from nintendo at E3.

I thought they were going to unveil a whole new portable gaming system that could compete with the psp but sadly all we got was a smaller version of the GBA, I guess the DS which is quite cool in its own right and has many amazing features will just have to do for the moment, but I believe it will be an up-hill battle against the PSP.

The size of an i-pod, sn't that as big as a GBA anyway??? nintendo need to learn they'll never get anywhere by repackaging old merchandise in a new (and usually smaller) wrapper

the only time they've ever put the same thing in a "smaller" package is this.
The SP is the same size as the regualr Advance.

Neo2005's got a point... And this technically isn't just making a GBA into a smaller package, they're also adding a nicer backlight and clearer LCD screen. The SP folds into a square and has a front light, and the GBA... well, is a GBA

Acually the SP has a backlight. not a frontlight.
it's hidden in between the edge of the screen just under the LCD.
But the Micro yes has a brighter screen more like the DS's backlight.
And a much cleaner look.
But i'm not going to buy one.

Someone told me it was a frontlight, because if you look at the top of the SP, the light comes out? You might be right though
