I never watched Blair Witch ......i didn't hear even one good report about it so i cant comment on any similarities to it.

But if it's real or fake, I don't know. But the fact that the girl reminds me of the Ring girl is one thing that makes me think it's a fake.

As for the video how can you guys compare with blair witch project? There is no ghost in BWP and the plot and setting are just way diffrent.

The guy caught a girl. Maby he continued investigating and returned to the room to see if it was still there and to his surprise it was so he got scared this time.

I agree that his screams sound like a turkey.

Blair Witch does not show any ghost at all.Not even the witch the film is about!!

I was comparing the feel of the video, not the content. The sort of camera work in it gave me the sort of impression that I was watching BWP again. Of course, it is not a hard effect to reproduce and it could be accidental as well. Still, I stand by that this is a fake.

Yah it reminds me of BWP as well how the camera is all shaky and the quality is bad. I still cant decide wether or not this is real or not and we'll probably never know unless the guy comes out and says he faked it. BTW, how did we come to the conclusion its a girl? you can barely see it.

I'm a producer for a new TLC show on everything Xfiles. I am trying to view this clip, but my computer doesn't recognize the format. Any ideas on where else, or how else, I can view this?

I still don't know if this is a fake or not, but I watched this tape with my cousin at least 100 times.

A girl with black hair wearing a white dress appears to be facing the corner of the first room in the first, second, and third scene; then again in a different room in the forth scene.

Now being human my cousin and I are naturally skeptical. There are a range of explanations that can be explained for the girl.

1. She was the guys sister.
2. She was and oversized barbie doll
3. It was a dud fashioned out of a poll, white dress, and black wig.

Now at this point we would think it was a fake, but here is what bugs my cousin and I.

In the third scene when he shows the girl again in the same dark room. He screams and jostles the camera. We're not sure if it's just us, but at the very last second of the scene the GIRL RUNS THROUGH THE WALL and appears in a different room in the forth scene.

You can see her(or whatever it is) really well after you recognize her outline. I couldn't see her and I thought she was a tripod or something. Then my cousin pointed her out and she became clearer everytime I watched the video. She's suppose to be a girl with black hair and white dress who's back is facing the camera. It looks like she's crying in the corner of the room.

I would never have him come out on an investigation with me. People who scream & jump are so unreliable in what they encounter. They'll jump at anything.

I was investigating 1 house. One of the woman with us did video. We were on the 3rd floor, when we heard someone coming up the stairs, she panned around & no one was there, she ran down the 3 flights of stairs screaming "Oh Sh*t" all the way.

We did catch about the last 3 steps on the video, people who see it is hysterical laughing. That house has affectionately become know as the "Oh Sh*t" house.

I never took her out with me again. People like that do more damage then good. It removes all your creditability.

i watched the video about 20 times now lol and he says ''oh sh*t'' clearly after he see's the ghost and i think the reason he keep running back is because of Adrenaline Rush..if i saw that i would be freaked out too but i would want to go back because i had a camera in my hand..the only thing that bugs me about the video is because why is he recording in the first place?

It looks to me like the person went into a room, saw the ghost, went out and then went back in, saw the ghost again and screamed as he/she ran out. Then it looks like the person went into another room, saw the ghost in that room, screamed and ran into another room and found the ghost in THERE too. To simplify, I counted three rooms - the first seen twice and then two additional rooms after that one.

I don't know if it's real or not but it's definately creepy. The hairs on my neck stood on end!

its debateable, although the guy who took the footage hasnt added any information with it, its just weirdly stuck on the web.
so hes either too ashamed to post somwhere and deal with the ridicule of people saying he has a girly scream, or hes having a laugh at the arguments over the vid.

one of the parts is very much like the blair witch project, where shes facing the wall, but i think if it was a person you might be able to pick out a bit more detail about her ?? i dunnnno

Is this video available in any other format than Quicktime? I can't see any of the videos at the site because I don't have the necessary plugins, and the browser just refuses to download the things!

what looks like happned is that a bunch of kids or whoever were screwing around in an abandoned apt or house and simply got scared when he saw one o his friends in a corner doing soething. there is no transparency or anything how could that be plausible in a video of that quality? fake.
