1. What is this guy doing just walking around an empty house with his camera on? He seems pretty suprised by the ghost, so I doubt he was ghost hunting.

2. Why does he keep going back if he's so scared of it?

Pretty creepy so I wont even try to debunk; I like the scare better. I barely saw an outline of what might have been a little girl. The guy with the camera was freaked out enough though!

Ah, good points. But for two, the first three times are the same room, not sure about the furth room though.

First time he's already in the room, second time he went back through the door he just ran through, and the third he went through the door from the opposite side.

Pretty convincing but god it's comedy gold.

- It seems too perfectly rehearsed. Why does he focus the camera and zoom in on the "ghost", then start screaming?
- Why does the "ghost" stay there. Most ghosts don't stay in one spot for more than a couple seconds, correct me if I'm wrong.
- Why does he return to the same room over and over again? And that doesn't even look like the same room, so how could the ghost move into different corners of different rooms?

I would normally dog it, but I like a good scare. Hoaxing is just to common today with photo shopping, sometimes we just have fun looking at it and not thinking about it.

It's too blurry and skips a few times... can you explain how you know they faked this?

This is why I believe it's fake

1. If you're a nervous fellow, you've got no business as a paranormal investigator.
2. If it is a hoax, it's a crummy hoax.
3. Why should I believe the outline is a ghost? Isn't it more likely left behind thingamabob standing in the dark. Maybe it's a broken piece of furniture or household appliance. Those are the kinds of things you see in empty houses all the time. We can't tell because the Mr. Chicken hightailed it without investigating!

i dont think its a fake, as far as video evidence goes though its pretty unheard of to get a full apparition on film.

to those of you saying how could it move from different parts of the room, well actually its not.. always in the right corner of that room under the cove bit. and he is returning from opposite parts of the building... the last part of the film where he just bolts and the film ends i think he is just running from a mark on the wall or somthing

the way he pans around the room, he was probably looking through the viewfinder/screen, so that would explain why it takes aw hile for him to see it, he probably took a look out from the lens to see it for himself then perhaps just zoomed in on it to make sure he got it on film..
ahaha and how can you forget the amazing reaction and scream, which is probably genuine.

the faint outline of the 'thing' has the properties of the quality of the film, and it is not obviously standing out from anything else, a lot of digital manipulation on really bad quality medium is obvious because it looks like its just been stuck on top.

so i guess it could possibly be faked but if it is then it would be somthing they put in the room themself, or like the guy up there said some old furnature.. something that made a shape like a outline. just wish the guy was calmer, brought a flashlight and maybe returned during the day.... we need the whole tape!

For a closer look, search for the file on bearshare or any file shareing, then if you can, on video settings in windows media, put the brightness down to around half the default, and the contrast up by about half the default to see it better.

LMAO!!!!! That guy screamed like a little b*tch! Oh my God that was just good stuff. It sounded more like somebody threw a bug on his face. Priceless I tell you. I don't know, I'm not buying that but wow that scream was just hilarious to no end. Seriously though, that guy must like sh*tting his pants by staying in that house or if he really saw something and screaming like that he would be out of there without hesitation and not still "scouting" the area out like that.

If you pause it at the beginning where he walks up to the room you will see nothing there, then he screams, "oh sh**" then the ghost appears. In otherwords he screamed to early. It's a hoax, all though someone pointed it out already. If not for him screaming to early I could have believed it was real.

hmmmmm that's good observation there. But when i looked straight at the screen you can barly see the image . It's faintly there before he says " oh S***"

it may bea fake, but hear me out for a sec, you find out that in that place theres a ghost, you take your cam go there, expecting the ghost to pop any second, and youre trying to walk in the room chasing it, isnt that a bit normal to say sh..t in that kinda situation even before you saw her? i would say sh.t from start to the end =)

You really need to download it from a filesharing program and then adjust the image in windows media, you can see it a lot clearer then

Well, I've gone a few times with my video camera to haunted places and I never was really scared or saying sh** and stuff. I never expect anything to appear on my camera when I'm recording, but I do expect to see stuff when I watch the tape...

And if I saw that "ghost" I wouldn't ruf from her(proboly after I crapped my pants).

I dunno if it was real or not, but I have to say, when the guy screamed he sounded like a turkey... Oh well. Freaky and hillaious at the same time.

I saw two allusions to blair witch project in this thread but what bothers me is the fact that there is no ghost in it so why do you compare?



Just because you don't see the ghost before he screams dosen't mean it wasen't there. Maby he saw it and then it took like a second or two to focus and get it clearly on tape. Take in concideration that it's dark and the cam is pretty crappy.

It might even depend on the camera. My camera has an audio-video delay because it's just a cheap digital camera. Mouth is closer to the camera/microphone so the audio is slightly ahead of what's happening in the video.

whether it's ufo ,ghost, orb ,whatever......a real video is worthless nowadays because hoaxes and fakes are so common..........i'd love to think this was real though

Okay, this video is fake in my opinion and here is why. I will take the clip first in general then chronological order.
First, in general the quality is poor, but still has that 'Blair Witch' feel to it, like it is a home movie, but one made to be seen. Second, everything seems rehearsed and structured (more detail on that to come). Third, it flows a story arc. Fourth, I have never once seen a clip of an apparition appearing in multiple places in this short amount of time. Also, most apparitions move, and are not deathly still like they are here.
The first sighting is a good one, camera is out of focus as you hear the guy utter various swear words, making you wonder what he is pointing the camera at and focusing on, then you get a decent look at something there.
The second and third sightings are nearly identical. He is creeping around a corner, building suspense, then you get a dark, brief glimpse of something before he screams like a teen scream starlet and bolts.
The fourth sighting is the climactic scene. A good, clear view of the 'ghost' in the best lit corner of the dim room. This is clearly a different corner than the others (I personally think the first corner is different than two and three, but I could be wrong there).
To me, the whole thing has the ambiance of an amatuer horror film that never was finished or made money, but someone wanted to get some noteriety from it.
