yes it's true, hell i have an anaconda as a pet, so i know them very well! yes they never stop growing, but the thing is that their rate of growth slows down so much that it's not growing much at all.

What do you feed it with? And how big is it? w00t.gif

se's prett young so she's only around 7 feet or so. and i feed her rats. Pilgrim shadow i know what i'm doing, and in all honesty you haveto be a careless jackass to get attacked and injured by a large reptile. tongue.gif here is a pic of her form last summer

Is it legal to own her where you live? I know a guy that picked 2 up from our local Reptile shop for free, some guy could not cope with them anymore and he was in the shop has he came in to give them away.

This guy in the shop took them off his hands, he has loads of different kinds of snakes but the new 2 Anaconda's are a handful all they try to do his eat him.

Snakes are easy to handle once you get an understanding of them and what there capabilities are.

Great looking one you have there.

I see something alot different, I think i read the whole thread ! But to me this does not look at all like a kangaroo,or other wise. I'm pretty sure that it is a hippo, and the size of the snake is not in proportion to a hippo.... This is a fake . A snake that large, never seen by man.

Just my thoughts tongue.gif

i thought snakes swallowed their prey then regurgitate the bons and other parts of the animal they cant digest

yes i think thats what they do, although i'm not expert, i mean i doubt they can digest bones and hair etc...

Snakes digest virtually everything. Bones get dissolved in the digestive system usually within 72 hours. It basically all gets turned into mush, which is absorbed by the snake, much the same as you absorb your food.

The only things snakes can't digest are keratin-based products, like hair, claws and feathers etc. They pass through the digestive system and are ejected as waste material.

I see wallabys every second day while im out driving during the day, and every time im out driving at night.

I know how big they are  wink2.gif  yes.gif

Then that thing is definitely NOT a wallaby. Surely, it's more than just two three
feet. hmm.gif
indeed
While I wasnt their and cant be 100% positive. As I said I see these animals on nearly a daily basis. To me it just doesnt look like a kangaroo no.gif original.gif

Our snakes also have problems digesting mice tails, more often than not I am spot picking them 2/3 days after feeds.

looking at a higher-resolution picture ( http://poststuff4.entensity.net/072505/ima...p?pic=snake.jpg ) I'm relatively sure the snake is eating a tapir, and is an anaconda as opposed to a python.
dragonlady_mothman
I'm not sure a snake is strong enough to do that. blink.gif
