Hello,
My uncle was telling me something about the 'McPherson Tape'. It is about a family who were abducted by aliens, and are missing. He said the whole thing was filmed by a teenage boy, but my uncle is not sure if it's real. If you have seen it, do you know if it's real? Is it any good?

I know Im bringing a topic back from the dead lol....but someone mentioned they havent seen this movie. You can watch it online,,,,,NO you DONT have to download it. I recommend using Firefox as Internet Explorer might not work for this site. Hope those who havent seen this movie enjoy. Just click on the Movie and a new window opens and starts playing.

You can clearly see these people are actors

It's bullsh** becasue they have an interview in the movie of a well known alien abduction movie maker and he's saying if this is a hoax it should have been my hoax becasue it was so well done and made the Fu**ing movie (your not suppose to know that).

That one is a fake. The oldest brother is in the Pink Panther with Steve Martin. He's the airport security guy.

But this supposedly really happened. I have a copy of the linked version and I remember the one they played on tv back in '97. There are several things left out that I remember, like there was a ball of light that came through the front door that went down to the basement and caused the electrics in the house to go haywire. The scene where the alien was in his room was where the tape ended when they played it on tv. It was after they shot the alien and after they found the guns cut in half on the porch and in the front seat of the truck.(I don't remember if they found the guns in the linked version) I also remember the truck was out by the front door, not around the side of the house. And the alien they shot was outside the front door.

Also, I can't remember where, but I've seen still frames from the real tape on a site somewhere. If I can find it I'll post it.

Oh yeah, it's a definite fake, I didn't know that it could even be mistaken for being real. But i have to admit, the story Idea seems very familiure. I think I read a true abduction account about something like this a while back. Although it is kind of a common scinario. But it would suck to be in it for real.

How could you even possibly think it's real? The credits at the end tell you everything; it even lists the people who played the aliens.

I remember an accout of a family that was attacked (belle familiy?) and that was what the mcphearson was based on..

He obviously knows its a fake, the guy in the interview was refering to the "original" tape from which the movie is based on. The original was from 1984 and was of a birthday party, not thanks-giving.

And stargate SG1 in several episodes, most memorable as a young General Hammond, when the team go back in time.
