This purports to show a fairy in a grave yard that was taken at the summer solstice.
The photographer says they saw nothing at the time to account for it.

HHHhhhhmmmm, I dunno could well be a dragonfly
I'm skeptical when it comes to fairys, the concept of little miniture people with wings, I just don't buy it.
Yes it is plain to see the picture is clear but clearly not a fairy I'm afraid.

I agree, it does look like a dragonfly. Also a dragonfly would be hard to spot in the dark.

Well yes it does look suspiciosly like a Dragon Fly , but at least it's keeping the legend of the Faeries alive .

What makes them think that it's a fairy, particularly? I mean it just doesn't look very much like a 'fairy', does it. It looks like a triangle or cone with things sticking out of it. Admittedly it's not a vast mental leap to see a little person with wings, but still.
Looks to me like somebody took a photograph on a day with some particular relevence to fairies and fairy lore, this anomoly came up and they immeadiately saw what they wanted to see - a little flying person.
The same kind of person, I imagine, would see a fairy when presented with every single card of the Rorshach (sp?) test.

That brought me the chills ...
it might be a bug ... maybe a grasshopper

Obviously it's a fake...I mean who would go to a grave yard a night and take a photo of the grass....he probably made a reflecting model of a "fairy" and then the camera's flash did the rest!

That poor grasshopper is probably sitting at home crying now because you called him a freak. Thats just not nice.
Please, think of the grasshopper next time.

I believe in fairies and that they take on all different forms, not just the traditional kinds.
But this photo no way shows a fairy, I immediately thought dragonfly too, I would never have looked at it and thought of a fairy. Would be cool if it was though!!!

Tell me this why would he take a picture of a cemetary at night? Was he taking a picture of that gravestone? Is so why at night?
Yes could it be a dragonfly? But I don't know- it looks way to big to be a dragonfly- trust me- I've seen some a couple of times at my house.

It was a really cool picture, even if it is only a dragonfly.

The biggest dragon fly i ever saw was in the Breakon Beacons, boet 18 inches accross and buzzed like bleeding chaisaw!
That was one of those very rare exersise moments for me, as 7 grown men ran for their lives

People who usually take photos at graveyards during the wee hours of the morning and night are out ghostie hunting. I do it, and rule of thumb is take pictures of everything, whether you get a "feeling" about a certain spot or not, because you never know what will show up. To me, i don't think it's a fairy. Not plausible. I DO however think that it might be ghostly in nature, like some sort of electric spark. Electricity and ghosts sometimes due go together. I would expect (if it's NOT a bug) that it could very well be energy. Just my guess....

Compared to what, Aslan? How many fairies have you seen?
Personally, I mean.

honestly, you joke around about people believing in fairys and you come here and find that people Actually do, what is going on? this isnt the 1600's BURN THE WITCHES!!!
as for the thing in the pic, looks to act like how hair does in flash, so it probably is a flying insect with long legs or like people have said a dragonfly.

Looks like a flower that someone could have stepped on. I think it is a dragon fly, thy. It looks more like a dragon fly when you make the pic brighter on photoshop.
