Hi all

I love churches, and am lucky enough to live near Cambridge UK where there are endless amounts of old churches to visit. Today I was taking photos of some inside and out, and on one photo a rather poor one at that due to the light effects, I saw something creepy in the clouds, it looks like a grinning face.

I am more than aware that faces can be seen in patterns, which I am sure that this is what is on this photo, and is nothing more than an illusion, but I thought I would share it, and ask if you can also see the face, even though its just an example of the human imagination its a creepy looking face, well I thought it was anyway. Actually if you look hard enough you can see two faces next to each other.

I can see three faces.

Kinda cool.

First face is the big one to the left of the tower, second is just in the bottom-right corner of first and third to the right of the tower (on photo edge).

First two look like Jesus H. Christ and last one looks like a lady with closed eyes.

Sorry mate, no faces....well unless you count old yoda in the top left

That's very strange, usually I am able to see shapes and patterns in clouds that could make a face..but I just can't see anything but clouds in that picture.

Cloud watching is fun however nothing mysterious. Cool pic though.

Nothing but clouds... but stare long enough at any cloud formation and you will see shapes. Everyone did it as a kid...

*phew* I am glad I was'nt the only one who could'nt make any faces out in that pic. Cool photo though, good composure.

I could make out 2 faces, one only after someone else mentioned it's position.

Your post made me think of some piccies hubby took at a recent fire, I just had a good look at them and some of them are really creepy.

I know that it's just the way the flames move that creates images but ...

As soon as I learn to take the images off the computer and put into a thread I'll post these as well.

Its interesting to see who can and cant see faces in the clouds. I have now seen 4 maybe 5 faces, but the most creepy I feel is the one I singled out, if you look again its the left side of someone’s face, and they are laughing or grinning, and directly to the right of the face a little behind it, theirs another one smiling, its strange that some cant see it and some can.

Remember though I am not claming that any of these are paranormal, because its not, I just think its a good example of how the mind works when looking for things that might be of supernatural origin.

While I was able to see the face in the selection you posted seperately...I'm unable to locate that section in the larger picture. I can see a section of cloud that looks vaguelly similar, but I don't see the face quite as vividly....

I did see Yoda however, when circled.

Must be a Right Brain, Left Brain thing! I clearly see the face on the left, and what my mind says is a Cherub on the right side.

I love watching clouds and see what shapes I can make

I see 1x 'Jesus', 1x 'Mary', 2x 'Demon's, and 1x 'Yoda'.
The Mary one made me cry. =S
