QUOTE
IF a democracy is formed..

That's right, if. I never said it was guaranteed to succeed. Nothing is.

QUOTE
how can you be FREE if your FORCED into something?

Every form of government is imposed by and maintained by force or the threat of force, even a democracy.

QUOTE
once again redneck IF..

Once again, I was using the word "if" for the very reason you are alluding to.

QUOTE
yes freedom is worth fighting for, the iraqis are fighting for their freedom from the occupiers. me and you cannot decide whether freedom is worth fighting for as we are not occupied. it is the decision of the iraqis and from watching the news it looks like they have decided it is worth fighting for hence them fighting the occupation.

The best way to get rid of the "occupiers" is to stop blowing up Iraqi own infrastructure and murdering Iraqi citizens. The "freedom fighters" are more a threat to their own countrymen than the "occupiers" are. Funny, not many of this lot were so willing to fight Saddam Hussein.

Of course, that's a generalisation. There's more than one faction fighting over there; negotiations are underway with some right now.

QUOTE
oh right, your the first person who i have ever heard say that n.korea is not do able, even by the worlds only superpower? and if freedom and the so-called democratic way of life is so precious and the right way then surely america should go after n.korea whatever the cost, surely being right is worth fighting for even if there are a few casualties on the way?

It is not possible for us to go into North Korea without devestating the entire penninsula in a way that would make the situation in Iraq look like a smashing success. That's why we won't do it, short of them invading the South or something.

QUOTE
the zionist control your country and are doind so solely for their own benifits and the benifits of israel.

"Zionists?" Now that I just don't believe.

ok , iam starting to think that u really hate islam .....
islam don't call for terrorism ....
about what u say about middle east ..
it's true but , is replacing a dectatore with conquest is better ?
it's sick just u want to defend america's actions...
the fact that america call's it self democracy and freedom fighters is really destroyed with all it's actions , specially since 9/11 ...
a country that practise terrorism and support terrorist beings (zionism)has no right to call it self freedom fighter ...

I have seen no statement from the Islamic leaders around the world that they have abandoned one of the underlying tenets of Islam . . . that it is their duty to bring all peoples of the world under Islam rule by whatever means are neccessary. I don't expect to hear that kind of statement any time soon. no.gif

I think that when the average Iraqi citizen says that things were better under Saddam than with the U.S. invasion, we should take that as a sign to get the hell out of there.

We've done nothing but build permanent bases near oil pipelines.

Not spread freedom and democracy. We don't have that in the U.S., so how could we possibly spread it worldwide? And should we? Considering the dramatic decline in American economy, is a war something we really can afford? Federal funding gets cut across the board, and as a result, states and social programs have to re-budget. And, if you're in a state controlled by a crook (Ohio has Gov. Taft, California has Ahnold), then your tax money is once again squandered by officials and then finally a portion is put into programs for the people.

Considering all the funding cut from education, drug rehabilitation programs, domestic abuse shelters, special-needs children, elderly care, medicaid, medicare, etc. in addition to the lives of the 1700+ dead American soldiers, I ask you again if you think that this war is something we can, or I should say, need to afford?

i'llrespond on something ....
islam is misunderstood in the world , 99.99% of the people who attack islam hadn't read a single book about it or talked to muslims ...
it's all from the media ...
zionism control world media , that's a fact ...
zionism has all benefits from twisting islams image ....
look to the new world religions dictionary and u'll know what i mean , such pathitic hatred for muslims translated on the dictionary , from whaere they got their info ? from where ?
many extreme christians made terrorism , then christianity is supporting terrorism !
zionism , the biggest terroristal being , say they do what Torah say
then jews are terrorist !
can that be ?
if a judge took a bribe let's cancel all law system ..
if a policeman stole let's cancell all security system ...
can that be ?
muslims are more than 27% and islam is the most fast spreading religion in the world ....
funny how u find it easy to attack it ....
from 9/11 islam spreading rate INCREASED
if islam is like what those blind haters say , is that normal ?

But sometimes even freedom has to be imposed by force, as paradoxical as it sounds.

ok first off let state that this type of ignorance is not representative of all americans--unfortunately the system has been corrupt for some time--long enough for it to actually dumb down a portion of the populace--through the abuse of the media and educational system and all the systems they have "created" a willing victim most unaware of the reality that surround them and some, like redneck, actually "knowing and enjoying" it willingly covering up or distracting from the truth that has been discarded long ago when his complete submission to hate occured

First off, let me say that this type of condescending arrogance is not representative of all Americans, or even all conspiracy buffs.

Even Suneofone's ideal society(whatever that might be) will be a system imposed and maintained by the threat of force. That's part of the definition of government: a body that has a near-monopoly on the use of force.
