As you lie amongst those coarse hospital sheets,
Battling bravely through your journey,
I go on blissfully unaware,

As you travel in and out for treatments,
Bombarding your body with poison,
I go on blissfully unaware,

As you talk and chat with me,
Sharing jokes when it hurts to laugh,
I go on blissfully unaware,

As you pass away in your sleep,
Having fought a long and painful journey,
I go on blissfully unaware,

As you go on blissfully unaware forever more,
I lie amongst my sheets, try and feel the pain and cry until it hurts,
Trying to fight a long and painful journey,
that you, my father fought before.

Oh dear

Oh My . .

This makes me think of my Uncle, who is now departed from me.

But it gives me comfort to know that He is now at PEACE!

hmm, brings up some strange feelings i havent felt in a long time

mmm, it's just a poem about Dad, he passed a year ago this coming august, and this poem pretty much sums up my feelings and stuff....
dont cry dot!!! *big hug* sorry about ur uncle native chick, and recon...is it a good thing or a bad thing to be feeling those unfelt feelings again?
