Alrighty, what with a lot of UM's members on my list, I thought I'd have played one or two by now. But alas, time zones get in the way of these things.

Which is why a dreamed up a UM: XBL Halo 2 night.

Now, it may just be a fevered dream, and it will take a lot of working out, but We are looking at having between 8 and 16 players enjoying a night of excessive fragging all across the world.

The Time

This is where I need your help. The majority of the members of UM are from the USA, Canada, Austraillia and the UK - Same goes for XBL. We need to find a time thats convenient for all of us despite the time zones. This could mean we have some players logging on at their local time of midnight, and some logging on at their local time of 9 PM, so I'll need your location as well as your gamertag.

I think we should be looking to do this on the coming Saturday, giving us a week to prepare.

It is negotiable how long the games will last - Some may log off after an hour, some may be playing all night. I'm looking towards the latter, if possible.

The current agreement on time is late evening in the UK, but this is still being planned.

The Place

Come the time, log on and you will be invited to a party already consisting of evrey other participant online. The games will not start until evrey one is there however if someone is late by a long time, the games will start. They will still be invited when they do log on, but may need to wait for us to finish our game.

The Games

The games will take place in both free-for-alls and team matches. They will take place across all of the maps, with the exception of the new ones that are not yet free. Please download all of the free maps before the date. Premium cost maps will not be used as it's unfair for someone who hasn't bought them, but should it turn out that we all own them by Saturday they can be used.

The participants

Please reply with your gamer tag and location (as well as any additonal comments) if you wish to participate. You must have XBL and A copy of Halo 2 to participate. Although it is not essential, you will need a headset to enjoy the games. Without it it would be just like playing any random people.

...tremors is a game played on Coagultaion(Relic would be cool too), two people(blue) are on one team and the rest on the opposite(red). The blue hop into ghosts and can only splatter, the red have to retrieve the flag and return it to there base without getting splattered, red cannot fire or board a ghost, only avoid it.... fun as hell I tell yah...

and I actually have to go to a reunion Sunday.. so I don't know what time I'll be back...

There isn't enough interest here anyways, xX Hunters Xx are usually on quite a bit during the weekend, send a message if you see a lot of people on seeing if the want to do some customs since most of them like too.... and if the stickerlickers(most are members that use to be in Hunters... but they're like 30's mostly) are on we'll hook up with them too.... post your idea up at the forum and tell everyone through Live what you posted and hopefully they go see what it's about...

I have the customs for:
Tower of Power (I do quite well on this)
Zombies (Attempt to do rambo type things all the time and fail)
Troy (Always lose- Becasue of my lag...Honest >_>)
Various CTF games
Basketball (Always end up fouling and dropping the ball out of the map)

...and loads of others. I have pretty much every custom game known to man

I've never played Troy before... I'm guessing it's on Zanzibar though?.... can you tell me what the rules are?

My fave level...ummm.... I don't think I really have a fave level.... I guess it all depends on the game type.. if it's straight slayer then lockout and ascension are pretty damn good... backwash is pretty sweet too...

Like i said.. all depends on the gametype.... Coag is awesome fun playing Hog Wars.... if no one here knows about it then these are the basic rules.

-Overshields on* (*if gauss hogs are being used)
-Vehicles must be hogs (either all gauss or all chain gun)
-amount of lives is up to you
-teams of two
-PP is only weapon with no grenades or weapons on map
-cannot beat down
-you may only fire at hogs that are occupied by a gunner
-do not fire at hogs that just respawned... kinda defeats the purpose of the game

The goal is to basically drive around with your gunner and beat the crap outta the other teams... I usually play with the first team to 25 kills wins...of course you need mature people that can follow the rules to play this... last time I played it the morons went around destryng every warthog before anyone could get in..... I have tons and tons of differant game types to play.. maybe I should go get the rules and post them so were all on the same page when we play...my rules would of course just be a guide line that we could use to come to definitive games for us...

Its on coagulation. 2 teams, only Brute shots, you have to fire all of your ammo across to the other side of the map to kill the other team (1 life each), and than run into the center and you can only use melee.

Troy is awesome killer carott showed it to me. I created a variation of zombies its called Caliban Cove there are three zombies and they use human battle rifles, and the humans use shotguns (which they must find) and pistols. Tri-Squads can only use battle rifles though. It is seriously fun.

Ah, I've played Troy.. but I think it was called something else.. it's damn fun actually... I'll add killer carrot when I get home tonight...

Alrighty, we have 8 players, which is really all we need.

Next job: All send eachother friend requests, then we arrange the time.

Then: Lest us arrange the time.

We are all from the USA, Australlia or the UK, no?

Now - I understand there are differnt time zones across the States, so you'll have to help me out, but...

UK (London) - Base time.

USA (New York) = - 5 hours.

Australlia (Sydney) = - 15 hours (?)

With this in mind, I propose three options.

Option 1:

UK time - 17:00.

USA time -12:00.

Australlia time - 02:00.

Option 2:

UK time - 00:00.

USA time - 19:00.

Australlia Time - 09:00

Option 3:

UK time - 03:00.

USA time - 23:00.

Australlia Time - 12:00.

I apologise if I missed out any countries, and please correct me if I made mistakes in either that or the time calculations.

I think it's best for all if we post-pone this one more time to next weekend (Saturday) to ensure that we all have time to note this, or some time during next week, as I doubt all the players will be able to accsess this before Saturday

Well, for the next two months I work 11:45am - 8:15pm(atlantic time that is) with Wednesday and Thursday off.... except between September 17th - 25th since I'm going to Montreal for a vacation I won't be anywhere's need a video game.... so I'm good for any Wednesday or Thursday, I'll let you know if I end up getting a Saturday off......

I must learn the game before I can play, but I usually go on anywhere from 10-11pm EST. I will however be checking it out tonight, that is if I can ever get Microdot away from it. He just got 2 new Star Wars games that he is currently enamoured with!
