All this will do is create a convection current which will move the psi wheel and not actual TK. I have debated with Bio-Mage before about the possibility of TK and I'm actually on the side for it, but psi wheels by no means prove or demonstrate TK abilities. I would trash this experiment and not even teach it since its been debunked many times over.

Yes, I explained the convection current on the post with the actual experiment (does no one ever finish reading posts anymore?). These experiments are for those who believe the psi-wheel does indicate psychic powers. Those who do not believe can read it for their amusement.

So, if its already proved its convection current, then there is nothing scientific if you are using the experiment for believers who ignore the actual facts. Like I said, I believe in TK. Its that esoteric terms and psycho-babble does nothing to explain its existence. And, all the X-Children bring nothing to the table, which furiates people like Bio-Mage, which probably has nothing to do with a personal tone but that it creates spam from people who want attention and start talking about having special gifts. If you have a special gift, show it and stop talking about it. Which by the way, moving a psi wheel is not a special gift.

Ok Chris, so for the sake of argument, what would you have me do? Instead of a psi wheel, which I forgot has been shown to work, and can be scientifically explained, how can I prove or disprove any kind of "abilities". Think small. A starter project.

How about get a mason jar and poke a hole in the top. Use the hole to anchor a pendulum or something acting like a pendulum inside the jar. Leave the jar alone until the pendulum stops swinging and than try to use TK to get the pendulum swinging again.

Another one is to get a compass and set it on a table and try to get the needle to move clockwise.

Stay away from psi wheels, rotating straws, and spoon bending. I would also suggest not to pay any attention to how to make psi balls.

Good luck to ya and stay relax and don't get frustrated.

How do you poke a hole in a mason jar? The mason jars down here in the south are glass.

Do they not have tin lids? Actually they should have two pieces to the lid, the thin piece for the seal during canning and the screw on part. I'm a southern boy too and believe mason jars are mason jars no matter where you go.
Nadia Blue
Ahhh, yes, the lids. You see, I'm an extremely southern girl. The mason jars I have, I drink out of. tongue.gif I'm pretty sure my grandmother has some lids, though.

Oh memories. Rummaging through the junk drawer for scissors and glue and only coming up with flat circular metal peices and the "screw" parts. grin2.gif

Thank you...at least someone reads my posts for what they are...

Aquatus...I do read entire posts .....and I still think your experiments are inadequate. If someone does not use them to prove their psichic abilities then why mention it in the first place? To teach them science? They are not interested in it. Not because I say so, but because thats what THEY say. All you have to do is claim that laws of physics get revised all the time and you are no longer in need of them. If you can't understand this then there is little I can do for you. Its not my intention to overthrow anyone's theories as long as they are at least that....not something that they are utterly convinced of without a shread of proof. I give up on all those that give up on themselves. I am not a saviour nor a preacher. I am here to share and discuss facts with like minded people. The rest are not my concern.

Stixxman, no there is no personnal tone exactly. I just like to be able to browse this section to read posts realting to the subject and not a page full of " OMG I can TK you all ...opWage ". I believe in ESP in my own way and I am disturbed to see that instead of constructive arguments, all we get is ten kids, following the latest trend.

Well said and I agree, My own belief isn't solid because I'm more a realist than most. But my "gut" tells me that I may be wrong. But the waters have been muddied so much by cooks and attention seekers that its hard to take serious.
I like ti read your posts Bio because you have no talent for dishonesty and word play. What you say is what you mean, and I may not agree but respect you for saying it. Thanks.

Ah, but 'they' are not the ones that requested advice concerning the proper setup of a series of experiments.

I'm afraid I am having a little trouble understanding that, but then, I have been away for a few days. If you believe that I am beyond help, then I will simply shrug and continue on my way, doing what I can to show the ways of science. Just out of curiousity though, are you referring to the 'slide' believers generally use to avoid having to actually support their case, or was it meant as something else?

Great, let them be my concern then, and you won't have to worry about them anymore.

It is my personal belief that many of them consider what they claim to be theories for the simple reason that they have never learned otherwise. It is also my belief that they obstinatly refuse to think they are mistaken for the sole reason that are defending themselves from what they perceive (with some justification, considering what you have just said) as a personal attack, not because of any particular objective support or logical argument. You have your point of view on this matter, and I both understand and respect it, although I do not agree with it. I will not, on the other hand, allow anyone to deter me from continuing my attempts simply because they feel these attempts are doomed to failure and the people I am addressing are hopeless.
