I believe a lot of the 'original' ones were based on actual new stories, although the changed and twisted versions we hear today probably ressemble the actual facts in no way. Nowdays, most of them are just based on movies

We know that some do, but definately not all and i'd say that half even is pushing it. So some.

Some of are variations of other urban legends, I'm not sure if some are real or not. So I didn't vote in this poll.
