The Nightmare Before Christmas was one of my favourite films as a kid, all those years ago when it came out. It was on constant repeat in our house, I remember it so well, and it is still one of the best animations I have seen.
I thought this might be of interest to other fans of the film, this is the poem behind the story. I love it, its wonderful.

My 'delicate' 7 yr old son just watched Nightmare for the first time about a month ago. I was a little concerned he would get scared, but he declared to me "This isn't scary. Its cool!"
Love Tim Burton - the man is twisted in just the right way.

I was about five years old when I first seen it, must have been around the time of its release. It was a present from my uncle, and my mum wouldn't let us watch it alone
I can't wait for his new film, 'Corpse Bride' it looks awesome.

I was about 5 too. We didn't annoy my parents, they loved it! The new movie looks awesome! I came in about halfway through the comercial thing, and I could tell it was Tim Burton by the way the main character is so freaking tall. Also the Corpse Bride bares a resemblence to Sally.

Yes yes I have not met one person who doesn't like his work. Of course there are some that haven't heard of him, but we can always educate them

This is still one of my favorite movies. I love it so much. The poem is lovely too. Tim Burton is genius. Everything he does is so spectacular. I love him!
Has anyone read any other poems by Tim? They're really very good. The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy is my favorite.

Nightmare Before Christmas is cool.
Did you know that Jack pops up in quite a few of his movies...
In James and the Giant Peach, he was the captain of the sunken ship, he was also in Beetlejuice, on top of Beetlejuice's carousel hat towards the end when Beetlejuice rises out of the floor, after summoned by Lydia, I also think he is one of the hedges that Ed cuts in Edward Scissorhands and I heard he pops up in Sleepy Hollow somewhere too...

Tim Burton has my idea of the creepiest imagination and I LOVE it!!! all his movies are so magical and thought provoking!! I like how he is not afraid to use his favorite actors over and over! Did he do Big Fish?? I think so but can't remember...Helena was in that too right??
