Hello everyone. While there are many different categories of movies you could be watching I personally prefer the horror genre. Above are some of my all time favorite horror movies, but when having to pick my 1 choice at the top it would be The Nightmare on Elm Street by Wes Craven. In my opinion these movies where always able to entartain me.. since the very beginning. Freddy Kruger was always able to provide a little sence of humour here and there and was very brutal in his killings. The movies were especially good for that period of time and I continue to enjoy them when I watch them every now and then.

What I'm wondering is what you guys think is the best horror series and please explain your reasoning for your choice. If its not listed above then feel free to add it and give your reasoning as to why you like it. original.gif

As you can see I kind of messed up the choices when you vote so feel free to just reply to this message with your favorite choice and why. hmm.gif

Thanks MM original.gif

Hey Shakezulah thumbsup.gif .. I enjoyed both Jeepers Creepers movies and I'm hoping for a third. The only thing I guess I disliked about the second is that the whole movie took place on a farm and a few fields around it blink.gif Still good though and there were some very funny parts. grin2.gif

Jeepers Creepers 2 was very entertaining, but it wasnt anything like the 1st one. It has a completely different feel to it. It seems more like a teen slasher movie rather than a real monster horror movie. I still liked it, its just nothing like the first. I doubt there will be a 3rd movie. It would have to take place 28 years in the future. But they could do like the Creepers origin or something, which would be cool.

I voted TCM, the original is a classic groundbreaking mind trip, the remake is a gory suspense filled masterpiece, and all the sequels in between are......good for a laugh

Out of those available to choice form on that poll I would have to say the Alien series, I love those!

Horror View and ComingSoon say they caught up with Jonathan Breck, The Creeper in the "Jeeper Creepers" films, who revealed that a third movie is in development.

According to the site, Jeepers Creepers 3 will begin filming this summer for a possible 2006 release date.

Breck added that, although there is no script in place, the story takes place twenty-one years after the events of Jeepers Creepers II. He also confirmed that Victor Salva will once again direct.

Finally some news! ...................... there is gona be a jeepers creepers 3........................... http://www.countingdown.com/movies/3224155...iewpost=3621667

21 years later? But the creeper only comes once every 23 years. Also, the 2nd movie ended 23 years later with the main guy having his shotgun aimed at it so he was prepared for it to come back to life. The plans for the 3rd movie really make no sense.

I have been a Hellraiser fan for some time.

I'm a big fan of the Ginger Snaps series, about two teenage sisters battling transformation into werewolves. I've only seen I and II, but there is a third. I highly recommend them! thumbsup.gif They've been sadly overlooked.

I like most of those listed, but since I can only vote for one, I voted for:

"Nightmare on Elm Street"

I also voted 'Nightmare'; I loved those flicks when I was a wee one.

Those movies actually inspired a friend and I to write a horror film of our own; it was horrible.

I have a few favorites, all black & white, the original "The Haunting" The Uninvited, I would say my top 2, The Enity is another favorite, though not in Black & White.

Although The Entity wasn't a series, it rocked as a movie. Barbara Hershey was great in it.

I agree...

I got all 3 of them on DVD...

Although I wouldn't recommend part 3 it's in an other time period...
...somewhere in the pelgrim history...
...and it's nothing compared to part 1 & 2...

D. likes to watch werewolf-movies...
...you know, great hunters...
