Well, so far, not too much has happened.
I bought a house in November from a friend, and have been there for 8 months, worry free.
Until, that is, Tuesday night. The first of 3 strange experiences (so far) happened.


#1- Some time around 11 pm I heard a knock at the front door. As I got up to answer, the knocking began again. After I heard the last knock, I was about 3 steps from the door, but when I turned the porch light on, there was nobody there. I stepped outside and there was no sign of human presence anywhere. I live on a dead end street, and there are only 3 houses on my block.


#2- Wednesday afternoon, I got home from work, and my favorite pants I left on my dresser were gone. Gone. I was going to wear them out for dinner with my family, so I made it a point to leave them out. I searched my house, top to bottom. Nothing. Gone.


#3- Today (Thursday) I got home at the same time I always do, and was getting ready to meet some friends. I began looking for a particular pair of shorts, which I wear quite often, were nowhere to be found. Again, I searched my home.
Gone.



I know that may not seem like much so some, but this is the first experience of this nature I have encountered.

I may add, Tuesday evening my mother got a new bed and gave me her old one, which belonged to my father in the 1970's and 80's. My parents divorced in 1988, and my Father passed away in 1996, but my mother had this bed until she gave it to me this week.

Maybe the bed is connected to the occurences, maybe not.
BUT, the first strange happening took place within the first hour this bed was in my house.

In the last haunted house I lived in, the most common occurences were knocking on doors and things disappearing with out a trace. It can be rather annoying, but as long as nothing bad is happening, just nicely ask out load for it back and you might just get it (not immediately ofcoarse).

I don't understand where they could be. Physically, where could they be right now?
That's so weird.

#1 sounds like neighborhood kids messing with you.

UPDATE

This morning I opened my closet and my missing clothes were neatly folded on the floor.

I don't get it.....

Did you ask for them back?

Perhaps your Dad has decided to move in with you? If it is your Dad, he is trying to communicate with you. He is trying to get your attention by taking your clothes. Ask politely for any misappropriated items to be returned. Ask the spirit to identify itself. I don't think its coincidental that the problems started when your parents bed came into your house.
This appears to be a mild, even a playful haunting.

I did not ask for anything back. As a matter of face I have been totally ignoring whatever this is for the past day or two. I am going to continue to ignore it and see what, if anything, happens.
