Some 4 month ago, I lost my wedding ring. blush.gif I have been unable to find it since then. I have looked everywhere I can think of.

I know it's in my house somewhere...

Please let me know where it is, if you can... thumbsup.gif

Thanks a lot for your assistance.

If you want to give dowsers a chance, attach a floorplan of the house even a rough sketch of the floorplan if you have to.

I'll make a rough drawing of the house using mspaint and attach it...at this point I'm willing to try just about anything. It wasn't an expensive ring or anything, just centimental.

Alright, I created the pic, and it is too big to attach. Anyone know a site where I can upload it, so I can attach the pic as an html image.
Kalevipoeg
http://www.imageshack.us/ is good for uploading pictures. One thing though... Always make your sketches and other things as JPEG files, that way they are times and times smaller and don't lose too much quality. Sketches don't need the quality anyway...

I lost my wedding ring too at work.
I reconstruct every moves i made and i found it on a place where it is very hard to see.

You need a clue to find it.
Did you lost it on your finger ?
Or you placed it somewhere like you are washing your hands?
Are you doing something like lifted an object that makes your ring
detached from your finger? or you have thrown an object while your hands
got oil in it or soap ?
Give us a clue so we can help you.

Doing psychic thing is only best on murder cases.

I think I took it off while working on the kids big screen tv in the basement...but not sure if that's where I lost it at. I had also taken it off in the master bedroom while hanging curtains. My wife thinks that if I took it off in the bedroom, my 3 year old might have done something with it... I am at a total loss as to where it might be...but I know it's in the house...somewhere

I figured that there were several upcoming psychics on this forum, and this might be a good practice for them, and help me out in the process.

Well there are several people that think they are upcoming psychics...
You would probably have better luck razing your house to the ground and looking for the metal that survived, rather than relying on some peoples 'abilities'.
scipherel
For a start let's make it like a criminal investigation. ..lol..
By instinct we never removed our wedding ring on an area where we know
we're going to lose it like doing electronics job.
We usually place our wedding ring in our bedroom where it is always
visible to us. If its gone, then the suspect is your 3 year old.
They usually hide things on one place and if you know that hiding place
you might find your ring. If you got no idea then set up a video camera
and re-enact it and see if your child is the one who took it.
But don't blame me if your child swallow the ring.

When i looked on the pic you posted my attention was focus on the basement
and master bedroom but i think it is somewhere near the door of the master bedroom.
I wished i helped you.
zudo
it's in the kitchen! or somewhere in the top right place in your house... that what first hit me, but then again I am not a psychic, I just trust intuition... utility room maybe?
EmpressV
When I read your post I got the feeling it's under a bed.
JohnnyBoyC
This is what I saw, it is deep under your nightstand in the Master Bed room, if not, try the other bed rooms nightstands.
zudo
lalala where is it? under the bed... geez that's probably the first place he looked, besides, it's not there
Me_Again
Possibly... not claiming to be psychic...
It was on top of something, then fell into something, maybe a toy box or the garbage...If it was the garbage its gone, carry on dontgetit.gif Hope you find it, but its unlikely hmm.gif
SurvivalChuck
OK, I did a quick dowse and marked a spot which I got as the general location. Seems kinda of weird and you didn't give a layout of your basement and I assume the top floor that there shouldn't really be anything from your living room to your kitchen. So here's what I did:

I asked if the wedding ring is still in your house. I got a 'yes' response.

I then did the coordinates and came up with the dot on the attached image.

Since, it didn't make sense and I noticed you had a basement, I asked if the ring is in the basement and recieved a 'yes' response.

I hope this helps you out.

I doubt you will get any luck with these so called "Psychics".

Just do the logical things:
1. Retrace your steps. Think of where you possibly had it last.
2. If nothing else, buy a metal detector. One that tells you what type of metal it has found.

I would send you a link for a good metal detector but we aren't allowed to do that. Good luck.

I dont know if you were working outside lately but I keep getting near the lip of a gutter? do you have a drain in your basement that may have a gutter to it rolleyes.gif I close my eyes and see in my mind where I may have lost something, works for me.

one more thing to scipherel, I think you aught to be nice you know you get what you give, glad I am not you!

Ziggy Stardust
Well? found the damn ring yet??
zudo
socrates, how do you know the question searing peoples minds
Ziggy Stardust
Sorry Zudo, but if you wish to obtain philosophical insight from me you must schedule an appointment. PM me for further details, and please be patient as the waiting list is exceptionally huge. wink2.gif
JohnnyBoyC
seriously, look under the nightstand next to the master bedroom bed, if it isn't there, look under the nightstands in other bed rooms!!!
JayRob303
I will be checking tonight, and will post my results tomorrow.

I pretty much only get on the internet at work...the weekends belong to my wife and kids.
nick_fury
Sorry Jay, I stole your ring and pawned it, then spent the money on a car which I crashed into a lake. Damn Karma

not there. I looked thru the medicine cabinet, under the sink, behind the toilet, and in the bottom of the closet...no luck there

No luck there. Just outside the master bedroom to the right on the wall is a shelving knick-knack thing my wife put up...not there. Just inside the master bedroom to the right, is the armoire...I have a bad habit of putting things on top of it...not there either.

Top right place is the master bathroom...already checked there with LittlePrincess's post. I looked behind the freezer in the utility room, and under the utility sink, on top of the washer and dryer (I keep a shoe box on top to be used as kind of a catch all). - no luck

Checked again...no luck...

Checked under both of the nightstands in the master bedroom, and even moved the dresser, and hope chest, to check under them...no luck.

Thought maybe ontop of the armoire in the master bedroom...checked behind and beside it...no luck

The place where you marked is actually the entrance to the kitchen on the first floor, and on top of the water heater in the basement. Above the doorway to the kitchen my wife has a knick-knack shelf, I checked it...nothing...I also check around the water heater to no avail...

I checked that this morning while I was out mowing the grass...nothing...

The only thing that I didn't try with the dowsing part from ChrisV and the fell into something from Me Again, could be that it fell into the vent and could have rolled to where the dot is...I will check this theory tomorrow. Also, next to the water heater is the furnace, where I had to bleed the line before we fired it up...it could be inside the access panel to the furnace.

Any other ideas?

You are all faked psychics ! w00t.gif w00t.gif w00t.gif Any real one ?
My second guess, check your washing machine.

sleepy.gif I wouldn't rely on psychics. Even the real ones have a tough time distinguishing literal from symbolic, or past, present, future.

geek.gif I'll bet you come across it some day when moving furniture. We had this huge old upright piano, and when it was moved, I found things that had been lost for ages, like a really good pair of scissors for trimming my beard.

I'm not relying on psychic, however, I had exhausted my search effort...and was basically 'searching' elsewhere... grin2.gif
I can only hope that I come across it...

Have you checked the vent and furnace yet? I'm not sure why, but I would check the water heater again too.

Edit: Sorry, after I post this I went back to dowsing and asked if it was by the water heater, then asked if it was by the furnace. 'No' in both cases. Still says 'yes' to basement though. Sorry that I can't be much more of a help.

omg, such a good occasion to proove some real psychics habilities. Yall completly blew this one out!! just gave random mental image.
Do a more detailed interior map, and color the places you were sure to find nothing. Dont even leave a crack.
scipherel
No one claimed psychics here actually.
We're just guessing.
GhostDJR
I'm not claiming to be psychic or anything. But do you have a girl in the house? If so check under her bed and her closet. And if you have a girl does her room have anything to do with the colors red or purple?
Greatness
It is in your bedroom! You have a closet? Check in the bathroom. Lol, I am guessing.
Nadia Blue
Listen. I lose a lot of small things and am hopeless at finding them. The only time I'm able to recover them is either by moving out (rather drastic), or COMPLETELY cleaning the house from top to bottom. Every once in a while, hubby and I will move ALL the furniture and vacuum, shampoo, scrub, dust, etc. Don't forget the baseboards. Especially where there's carpet. I can't tell you how many things I've found in those areas next to the wall. Clean the furniture, take the cushions out. Do you have a sofabed? Pull it out. Take the mattress off, shake it. It's a pain in the butt, but I've found lots of stuff this way. Don't leave ANYTHING untouched. I usually start with the living room, then kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, bedrooms. As a last resort, unless you think this is where the ring is, do the basement. I'm going to assume that will be a major undertaking. Sorry, but this is the best thing I can think of. hmm.gif
