I have often wondered why people expect to get a photo of a spirit. From what I understand from talking to others and the folks on this Forum, the people who see and hear the spirits are sensitive to things that others are not. If a spirit or spirit voice is in a frequency others can not sense, why would it show on film or digital image?
And if a photo has some thing on it not seen by people, what changes in the film processing makes them suddenly visible. Evp's I can understand and will allow as a possibility. But to photograph means to capture a moment in time and by its nature should be exactly whats present as seen by the picture taker. If everyone can see a ghost, then a picture can be taken of it.

The best explanation for capturing things on film that you can't see is that the film doesn't have an objective mind to block out things it doesn't expect to see.
The brain is bombarded with information but the brain can only process a tiny portion of that information. The average person only uses 4% of their brain. It is said that if we used more of our brain, say 50% or more, then we would see what the camera was seeing. That is IF our mind doesn't filter it out because it doesn't make sense to our logic. Why do you think children see things adults do not see? Because their mind has not yet been conditioned to block those things out.
But back to the original topic. I agree! There are some images in the Image Gallery that are obvious fakes and are horribly done yet people jump all over them with "wow. that is creepy" and "a real ghost!". Yet a photo that is proven to be untouched and authentic gets "what an obvious fake" simply because the poster didn't bother to put the story behind the photo. Come on people! Research things before forming an opinion!!
