I want to settle this once and for all; are they good or evil? Please only vote if you have used one. If this seems like a stupid poll to you please dismiss it as I am half-crazy with tiredness.

Hi Socrates, you should have had a both vote as well.

Remember the entity that comes through if a neg will lie so just because you think you've got sweet old grandma online it could be anyone. unsure.gif

Hiya's,
So often has the subject of Ouija Boards come up in conversations that I feel a need to talk a bit about them here. Most everyone has seen a Ouija Board, be it in a toy store on the shelf.. commercials trying to sell them on TV, perhaps even used one with friends. Many folks ask me if a Ouija board does work in making contact with spirits and communication.

There are many "tools" that folks use to help with spirit communication. Besides Ouija Boards there are pendulums, crystals, tarot cards, candles, circles, seanses.. the list continues on. It isn't the tool or the method that makes the spirits come and manifest or make themselves known. It is simply intent to communicate with spirit that draws them.

When ever folks have the intention to communicate with spirit they send out energy. Thought and emotion are energy. This is what draws the spirits, not the board or the crystal or any other "tool" being used. Those things are mearly props to make the communication easier once a spirit has arrived. The power, the real power ,is in the energy going out and that the spirits respond to it.

It is my personal opinion however that the worst thing ever done was to label the Ouija Board as a toy and market it to the young teens age group, as has been done for the many years. I have formed this opinion for several reasons. One being they do think of it as a game. With games you can just put the pieces back in a box when thru playing and that's that. That doesn't work well with spirits that want to communicate. Once the board is put away some of the more stubborn ones who really want to talk may react in negative ways or stay around just because they can. Many teens have told me they had stopped using the Ouija only to continue to have some activity happening in their home or around them.

#2, This can cause a variety of problems for the kids involved as well tinge their outlook on spirits and having experiences for years to come. They may feel helpless because they don't understand what they did and also afraid because they aren't sure what they are dealing with. The directions on the box don't include directions they can read on how to make an unwanted spirit leave. Many will toss the board away thinking its the board and not something outside of the board. They are surprised when the activity keeps up.

#3, Kids generally don't think to say a prayer and ask their guides for help with who comes to them in spirit and also to take a spirit away. This also goes back to not taking spirit communication seriously. Not taking spirits seriously, thinking of them as some abstract thing that is all in fun and will go away when they are thru.

Remember, Ouija boards have no power and are just tools. The power in spirit communication and what draws the spirits is the desire you send out to communicate, the energy. Folks, especially teens have no idea how strong in spirit they are, how strong in energy and what they can actually accomplish when wanting to communicate. They tend to see the causes and answers as being outside themselves and not something related directly to them.

During the times I have used Ouija we ( me and whom ever I was using it with at the time) have had ice cold air flow over us and over our hands, have felt hands on our hands while the planchette is moving. We have had deep heavy breathing come from in-between us where no one physical is sitting. We have had bangs and voices around us. While taping once during a Ouija session we got a moan, so loud, and so pain-filled when we did an opening prayer it sent goosebumps up my spine. Ouija and other tools of communication are not games. You never ever know who you will be receiving in spirit nor will you know the intent of the spirits coming thru. Calling a long passed relative or someone famous rarely works. If one uses the board I suggest they also respect it as a tool, and know how to shield themselves from unwanted activity. You are stronger then you know original.gif

Peace and blessings,
Diane

None of the above, i just felt stupid holding onto a pointer on a board.
Guess i have a lack of imagination needed to make boards work huh.
Richdog
I used one with my grandmother when I was 17a nd i remember it very well. The glass moved at a firm and constant rate even when I put pressure down on it, and with her weak arm pushing it, it would have slowed or faltered. The thing went to different letters and words with surgical precision, apart from one point near the end where it started to swirl round and round in an agitated fashion. I asked it a question my grandmother could never have known the answer to... it gave me a correct answer. My grandmother is also probably the most purely good person I know, she never lies, and is pretty wise.

The experience shook me up and left me thinking. I don't believe in many ludicrous things that people on these boards do, but the spirit world is definately one of them I give credence to. I believe in a soul and an afterlife 100%, and that is one of the rare things in this world that I believe is more likely to be proved real in the long-run rather than false.
Emmylou
I think this is a great poll, i just wish that more people would answer...

The only time i used a ouija board, the spirit told me it wanted me dead... so i never used one since.

It was pretty scary.
Wicked Pixie
I've used one before with a friend-a few times... and each time it wasn't exactly evil, but it wasn't pleasant either.
I think it all depends on which spirit you are trying to communicate with. I've heard of cases where some people have communicated with demons... and that wouldn't be good at all. it's been a few years since I've used one-and probably will not use one again, either way.
I do agree with Galaxey, however, that those boards should not be sold as toys.
Boltwave
Oh my god, not another thread about ouija boards disgust.gif

How stupid can people be when it comes to these things? It's so stupid to even suggest thinking about going near one of them, how many threads do we need about ouija boards? They are not tools people, anything but, you can't just decide your going to play with a ouija board, very bad idea.

Personally I think ouija boards are useless tools to try and get a true connection with a spirit. There are so many other safer and effect tools out there. If you don't know how to sheild yourself, contact spirits properly(and the right ones), be able to chanel them out if things turn bad, then your just playing with fire.

I tried ouija when I was 17 years old and alot of strange things happened, thankfully nothing out of control. I currently know people who use ouija and have alot of problems, to the point where their entire homes have to be cleared by a professional.

For those of you who claim that Ouija Boards are junk and dont work, think again, outsite of the cardboard, I know for a fact that these Ouija Boards work and they have worked everytime I have used them. I myself have used a Ouija board quite a few times already within this year and the last and have not had anything out of the norm happen to either me or my friends afterwards.

Let's just pretend that you are attempting to use a Ouija Board right now, you are skeptical and unsure about the results of your attempt as you should be. Dont give up right away in a 1 min like most impatient people do, but keep at it for 5 or even ten minutes if you have to but dont give up if you get no results right away. The most general way to start is by asking if "there is anyone there?". If you get no results right away which usually happens to me, keep asking if there is anyone there and keep asking for mabe once every minute. For better results, use the Ouija with someone you trust to be an honest person, not some immature joker who wont take this stuff seriously. From my experience I can say that a Ouija Board can be made out of almost anything as long as it is flat and has all the lettering, numbers, and yes and no on the top left and right corners of the board. Remember these are only some basic tips to get started with a succesful seance but they are not safety tips which I myself always follow everytime I use a Ouija Board. So if you would like some safety tips which seem to be working great for me feel free to ask.

Well the question has to be asked, exactly what purpose is the ouija board serving you? is it meerly for entertainment or do you have an objective behind what you are doing?

Do you know for certain that what you are being told is the truth? and if you think so, how do you know for certain? it's not a controlled environment, though your claiming nothing has happened how do you know for sure? and how do you know nothing will happen?

Spikester2488
I have just noticed the numbers of votes for this board are 6.. 6...
lol Sry I just had to say that.
Crazy Funk
I have used ouija boards in the past and have found that they seem to work. Whether or not this is due to some form of telepathy, spirit contact or just the subconcious mind I really can't say but what I can say is this...

None of the information I gained from using the board was of any use to me and nothing good came from using the board. It was just a waste of time as far as I am concerned. At the end of the day I am still no closer to knowing what made the board work and unfortunately it didn't predict the lottery numbers and make me rich.

All I would suggest to anyone who wants to try it is to have a think about what you want from it. Don't expect any answers as there is a good chance you will be disappointed. Also be aware that whether it is real or not its use can have a negative impact on certain individuals.

If I was you I'd spend my time doing something more constructive like watching Diagnosis Murder or Quincy.

That depends, if you are hearing things because of a ouija board it is because you have interacted with something spiritual, so yes sometimes it is just the mind but sometimes it's something else.

What about "all of the above"?

Question:
If a spirit wanted to contact a person, it wouldn't need anyone to use a Ouija board, would it? I mean if there are spirits lurking around in our houses, why do they need us to use a Ouija board to make contact? Couldn't they just appear or make themselves known in some other manner? I guess i just don't understand the significance of using the board.

I really do wish that people would stop playing with these things. I have been using my board (alone) for 7 years (handmade with baphomet/pentagram in the center) to contact demons as well as the dead. But I think where people screw up is they play with it out of bordom or they do it just to see if it will work. Its disrespectful to whatever you contact. And I think whoever does that deserved to be scared by the one they disrespected. Anyway thats all I have to say.

My question to you would be why you want to contact demons? I know someone who makes their own boards, they are really quite eloquent.

I contact Demons because I am what you would call a Spiritual Satanist and I contact them for guidence when working the black arts and other things. I have never in my 7 years had a bad experence with a demon.

If you don't mind me asking, what is a spiritual satanist? I have never heard these terms used together.

Okay, never mind... looked it up. It means you are a traditional Satanist. Out of curiosity, not condemnation, what encouraged you get into this? It is not somethig you see everyday.
necromancer
Well I was born into christianity and went to church untill i was 19 im almost 28 now. And what got me into Satanism was the fact that when i would pray or go to church all the people around me seemed so happy seemed to really feel the love of the lord and i didnt, and i really tried i mean really tried for all 19 years. I had a dream one night someone telling me that I should try a new faith but they didnt say what faith all he said was that I would have to come to him of my own free will or not at all. So for about 6 months i tried lots of different things and the day i started meditating on satan or his demons, i got this strong vision kind of like being surrounded by blue light and i felt the most intense feeling of love and protection i have ever felt. And well that was that. Sorry its long. But you asked hehe.
amybutts
Wow....pretty powerful experience. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing...gonna have to do some more reading up on this.

Okay, one other question.... this is not a highly publicized religion, do you associate with other followers? And how do you find one another?

Sorry if I sound a little stupid here...
necromancer
Well actually I rented out a house 1 year and a half ago to start a small church consisting of myself my friends and my friend's friends, and that makes just over 30 members and its a very close knit group.
amybutts
That is very intriguing.... I would love to ask you more questions, but I don't want to put you on the spot.....
necromancer
i dont mind answering any question you might have
amybutts
Okay, thanks.... I guess I have two for you. First, what do you do when you are in church, as in what type of services. Secondly, how do you feel about God?

I know this probably sounds stupid to you, but this is actually the first time I have been able to talk to a Spiritual Satanist and there is just so much myth and rumor surrounding this. I find it fascinating.

That is kind of putting you on the spot on this board, you can PM me the answer if you would like...
necromancer
Well first off what we do in church, quite a few things actually first is my sermon and that usually consists of my dreams and visions and things that i have learned from my gaurdian demon and other demons as well as speakings from Father Satan hiself, though that doesnt happen very often, then theres meditation and i also teach astral projection and self levitation. And now how I feel about God, im not sure how i feel about him really, although i have been physically and spiritually attacked by a number of angels, they have in the past 4 years started attacking me since they figured out that theres nothing on earth or in heaven that could make me want to leave Satanism. BUT as far as Jesus Christ I hold much respect for him, it was a horrible and barbaric way for anyone to die and if I were around at that point in time i would have done what he did, i would have given my life if i thought it would save humanity. if you have yahoo messenger and want to talk further its hp_wilson@yahoo.com

oo, that would be Great if you could give me any scrap of info on the name.

The manuscript came up in another topic on this forum and some reason I'm curious about it from this angle, that it might somehow be related in a roundabout way.

I couldn't imagine what an angel attack must be like
necromancer
Well for one there is someone on another board that goes by "PAJ", then theres the demon here's some history on him.... i got this information not only from him but from another source to confirm what he had said .... anyway here it is...."Paj also known as Paimon" ...

Paimon is a Day Demon and rules 200 legions of spirits. Part of them were of the Order of Potentates.
Paimon gives the power to influence and control others and teaches arts and sciences. He provides good familiars and gives one position and honor. He can reveal anything about the Earth and one's mind. When he apprears, he is attended by other Demons. Paimon is known to make noise. One of my clergy members revealed that their smoke alarm went off all by itself with no explanation when Paimon appeared after a summoning.
Paimom is full of energy. Loud noises and bright lights tend to make him more active. He is very colorful and is very friendly to those that call upon him with respect and without fear.

To anyone else reading this, that might be dumb enough to try to summon this Demon just to see if it works,,,DON'T because I dont care what anyone says most higher level Demons can and will break through any protective circle you might have thought you had and bible passages DO NOT work.

Celumnaz
Yeah, there's some software guy in India with that name.

If Paj = Paimon, hits close to home, heh. Paimon I'm familiar with.

Now I see why it was different at times... he likes to keep company! Of all out there, and I won't deny I was pursuing knowledge of this sort at the time, wonder why I got connected to that one? And why he chose a name I'd never heard? Ahh well... Definately decided being a leader isn't for me, too much of a mark.

Pretty dang cool. Thank you. original.gif

An angel attack,,,I've had many but the one that stands out the most happened the night that I finally dedicated myself as a Satanist. At the time I was living with a friend in her apartment, I was sitting out on the balcony 4 floors up and I was meditating just before I did a protection ritual. So I start doing the ritual and not two words into it i feel this gust of wind (and it was not windy that night) so i feel the gust and my skin goes red hot then cold and next thing I know I'm going up over the railing and onto the ground below, and from there all I feel is pain and something hitting me in the face then it stoped as if nothing happened. I hurt my back from the fall and I had bruises that formed the shape of fingers on both my uper arm/shoulder area as well as countless scrapes some from the fall some not.

I hurt my back from the fall and I had bruises that formed the shape of fingers on both my uper arm/shoulder area as well as countless scrapes some from the fall some not.

Sounds like an all round good day then.

I'd agree with allot of what your saying, no offense but Satanism has me a little uncomfortable in the first place with summoning spirits at all , I would never give over respect to a demon, one, that is giving in to a higher and darker power, two, demons are friendly to say someone with your experience because Satan is your idol, you may not exactly worship him, but Satanists ( correct me if I'm wrong ) represent Satan and go out and preach the name of Satan and his work.

In my case, I would be careful not even to come close within that range, but then again you are entitled to your beliefs and opinions, so please don't take me in the wrong way, I just would say simply put that bible verses always works when it comes to Satan and his minions.

Actually, it doesn't always work. It would be nice if everything were like the movies and had happy endings. Reality is not that way.

I am not a Satanist either and I can see how it makes you uncomfortable, but Necromancer was very gracious in his answers to me, which tends to make me rethink some preconceptions we tend to have.
