years back, there was this show STRANGE UNIVERSE on KCOP ch.13 (for those of you who reside in southern cali). It was pretty sweet as it covered a bunch of unexplained phenomena with detail- good writers, field reporters, etc.

anyhoo, they had this one episode where they played a tape that was sent to their offices. An alien had been caught on film, apparently.
In the video was a family celebrating Xmas in their living room, their living room window dead center on the film (it appeared to be on a tripod). anyway, what looks like a weird head bobs up and down twice to observe the family inside, this unbeknownst to the family until they actually reviewed the tape.

They lived on a farm with 2 huge dogs- they didnt react and were reported behaving strangely shortly after.

there were no tracks on the snow ( i forgot to mention it was snowing)


anyway, i musta been 12 when I saw it and it scared the living crap out of me. It looked authentic (then again, everything looked authentic to me at 12). The little head did look a little something like this

if any of you of the footage I'm talking about hook me up.
oh and for those of you who live in SoCal. one of the anchors for the show was Emmet Miller, who is on the Ch.5 news now... or something.

I remember that show, but never seen the footage. If anyone does have it, "hook me up" as well.

I remember the exact footage you are talking about. The family is celebrating at night, and there is window behind a few people on a couch. (I think) The alien looked kind of pinkish if I remember. I never found out if it was real or fake, but many years later, as I worked at a party store that sold Halloween costumes I found a mask that looked very similar to the alien I remember seeing in that footage. Could be coincedince, but the footage would have been easy to fake...

I think if it was a real alien, then supposedly their technology would be very advanced, because it has to be for long travel in space. So if they are that technologically advanced, why would they send some little guy to poke his head in a window? They could supposedly just abduct them, study them, erase their memories and put them back.


But I never believed in aliens anyway. Does't mean they don't exist.

i Think u may be talking about a clip from the Mcpherginson(sp) tape that is being discussed on the forums right now.

If so this entire video is a fake and that isnt an opinion its a fact. Many versions of this film have been shown but the whole version has credits at the end with the actors names.

Need more details to know if this is same video.

I came across a picture of a ghost that was posted by a member in the Ghosts section of the forum-- thanks AZALIN-- that looks exactly like the alien in the footage that I saw. However, you can barely see the ghost in this pic while the freaken alien is right in plane sight in what I saw.

hmmmm..... well i remember a show airing on UPN a LONG time ago....it was supposed to be real footage of a family get together, but soon later on in the night, aliens land in the woods nearby, killing the livestock. their cars break down so the family hides out in their home. but the aliens break in through windows on the second floor. i can't rememer much, but soon the members of the family dissappear one by one, till there's only the son left. he hides in the bathroom with the camcorder videotaping his last goodbye or something. then he goes out alone in the hallway into a dark room. he turns around and there's an alien that was hiding behind the door coming at him. the alien takes the camera or something, cuz that's how it ends.

i remember there was alot of hype about this show. it supposed to be real, and the family members were never found.....but i dunno......how did UPN get the rights to air that?!?

that would be the Mcphearson tape. It did air on UPN and it was all staged.

When I saw the end of that show and the alien came out from behind the door I almost lost it. Of course I was younger then, but it was still scary. Now looking back it was kind of funny. I wonder if they aliens take a class on where to hide so that human's won't look for you. Personally if my house had been hit by aliens and my family had disappeared I would so be looking behind the doors. But oh well, I guess not everyone does.

TheLikeness, I think I saw what you're talking about, except I don't remember it being Christmas, and the face at the window didn't look like the one in the ghost picture.

What I remember is a couple of guys sitting on a couch talking at night, while someone else filmed them. The curtains of the window directly behind them were pulled to the sides inspite of the fact that it was pitch black outside. All of a sudden, a white, bright, non-descript, weird little face peeks up.

They used to show that footage alot. I think that it was a hoax... why were the people on the couch being filmed at all, and why were the curtains wide open on the window at night like that? It all just seems a little convenient. But who knows.

Anyway, I can't find any clips of it either. I remember someone a few years ago trying to find get ahold of this footage too... that wasn't you, was it?

The video was a indoor recording (i think, in the living room of the house) and the window where the alien shows, its close to the camera.
The tape shows a normal home recording, and it shows a little boy, if i am not wrong.
The alien was yellow, and it appears so suddenly...its REALLY creepy.

It could be a fake indeed, but it is one of those videos that let you thinking.

The alien moves sooo strange...it reminds me the "alien interview" video.

Not one reaction from them.

the family reporting footprints or somthing strange
outside the window after checking outside upon viewing
the tape.
