I'm no expert.
But as far as i'm aware, dreams are nothing more than an active imagination while you sleep creating senarios from memory. You only dream about things from your memory, which is why alot of the time you cannot remember faces or locations in your dreams
Why do we dream? I don't know.

okay but do they connect you with the dead. like lets say when my mom died. i had a dream and she was telling me how much she misses me.

I don't believe that there is anything paranormal about dreams at all.
You miss her, which is why you dreamed about her.

I don't think they can tell you what's going to happen in the future and if anything like that does happen you can quite easily put it down to coincidence. Based on the number of dreams you have (sometimes several per night) and one out of say 20-50 happens to correlate to something that happens to you later - well I'd put it down to coincidence.
But I tend to disagree that they are solely based on ones memory. I have had many dreams (one last night in fact) that have very little to do with anything I have stored in my memory banks. Some really strange places, people and scenarios that I have never done, seen or would be possible here. Yeah, some might say it is just a mix of bits of memories strung together to make a whole new environment but not when the bits aren't even part of my memories

But now they are.
Don't know, my dreams are very weird and strange indeed...

one time i had a dream about graduation and we were all standing in line waiting to walk to our seats, and some girls that were close by were talking about one of their necklaces and one of them said something about a pearl necklace. anyway, a week later at graduation time, that same scenario happened. other things like this happen everynow and then.
some people theorize that there could be very small particles in our brain that just float around and pick up information. they say they could move so fast that they would leave and return before they even took off. but i dont know about all that.

Dreams are nothing. Unconscious make believe. At least I hope so as I've yet to see a naked woman in my dreams. I always wake up prematurely.

okay but if they are parts of your memory then why sometimes you see different people you never knew before?

Dreams are dreams.
My favorite is one where I walked up the stairs and turned to see the world upside down. (I had moved from a two story rental to a single story own it, go figure.)

I believe dreams can tell the future and reveal things to us. I'm not saying every dream means something, but there are dreams I think that have meaning.
I once dreamed of a dark knight on a black horse he carried a banner with a specific date. I always write my dreams down, when I remember them, anyways months later when that date arrived I found out my uncle had died.

I think that dreams come as a result of our bodies wanting to become aware. I mean, we spend so much of our lives, if not almost all day being awake, tending to our usual activities that our brains urges for more even when we are sleeping. And that it chooses to play by the rules of life sometimes and predicts some very coincidental situation that occurs sooner on in your life.. But at times, sometimes that good ol brain (or whatever generates those dreams) doesn't play by the rules, and gives you dreams that you're able to fly and mutate into a cat lol. Not speaking from personal experience. *cough* I just really think dreams are what the body/brain desires when it doesn't experience real life when you're awake.

Dreams are subconcious thoughts.
And yeah, some things can be co-incidental.
Once I dreamed that my best friend was being tormented by the popular group,
Now she's moved back, and the tormenting is overdue.

Yes they have the ability to educate and inform you of your future life , the problem is most people disregard what they dream about and take no notice of it.
I suggest you write down every dream you have and when you experience a "Deja Vu" just refer back to your log book , from there make a list of all the dreams you have and when you experience a Deja Vu write down how many days/weeks/months/years it occured after you experienced that dream.
Follow the above instructions and the results will amaze you , patterns will start to emerge ..........

You may dream up something that does come true or something happens similar to what happend in the dream but there isnt any real significance.
I remember my dreams everynight and even weeks after I have had them. I still remember faces, story of the dream, locations very clearly... even when I had them.
Anyone else the same?
most of the time i can remember everything.

Dreams seeing into the future(or Precognative Dreams) have never been proven existant.Scientists reckon that people who have proper precognative dreams that see into the future succesfully, think it's just a cool coincidence.

Dreams are only bits of memory and whatever your subconscious is focused on.
Although, dreams could possibly work like remote viewing, which has scientifically proven to be real.

Hi.
In my life I experienced several strange dreams and in 2 of it I recognized a date. Well when that date arrived in my life happened something important to me. I dreamed about that date several months before. In the first date I became pregnant but lost the pregnancy soon after and the second date it's the day I gave birth to my son. I'm convinced it's not a coincidence, the first time I dreamed that date and then I forgot about that dream but when the date arrived I remembered the dream and I thinked that what's strange but nothing else. When last year I became pregnant the gyne said the due date was the same date I dreamed about several months before

Well, if i can explain, yes it can predict the future to a certain extent, while your sleeping your brain can play out scenarios which could happen in your life, pehaps 1000's of these scenarios a night, so when one of these scenarios happen in real life, which there is a good chance it will even if it happends 2 weeks after you drempt of it, your mind could automaticly thing, WOAH DEJAVU! which also is why i believe there is deja vu.

Dreams are noting more than our way of explaining th world around us and when something happens like that it looks familar cause we want it to be people have theroizd that if o didnt dream you would go crazy as for having not seen a naked women before i can tell you i like dying youll never see it and they also say if yousee yourself die in your dream you die in reality. also dreams can be a way of tellig you whats going on outside while your asleep taking into wetting the bed when you wet the bed you dream of peeing in a toilet

I believe that almost all dreams are just that dreams but I've had a few dreams that are well kinda strange. I am a skeptical person but also open if that makes any sense.
I have a first cousin, shes a year younger than me. We are close but for the last 9 years we dont talk or see each other cept maybe once a year. Almost every time she comes I'm not expecting her at all, and sometimes I dream about her the mourning of the day she comes. I have only dreamt of her a few other times so its not a regular thing. One day I think I freaked her out a little, She showed up one day I had just gotten up, I told her I was just dreaming about her and in the dream we were sitting at the kitchen table. She told me she had been thinking about changing her hair color and asked me if she should dye her hair dark brown.
She stood there with her mouth hung open for a second, then she pulled a magazine out of her purse and showed me a woman with dark brown hair and said she was just about to show me this and ask if she should dye her hair this color.
Now... not saying this is anything other than coincidence, I think there is a logical explanation for 95% of paranormal, psychic etc. but the other 5% is kinda fuzzy.
