As a ghost, spirit, whatever...caught on film or video??

I have been looking at this one web site that shows supposed pictures of hauntings, ghost, and so on. 99% of the time you can tell what caused the abnormality. But the guy who runs the web site gives all these explanations of why the thing is real.

I mean, come on. Even I can tell that is a tree branch, a reflection, ect.

Now, I know some of you don't believe in this stuff at all. I am not even sure I do. But I am trying to broaden my horizons. LOL!

I am just a little frustrated with these obviously fake photos and the people trying to make them out to be real.

I mean, some of them are REALLY reaching. It is pathetic.

So, does anyone have anything that cant be explained away? Does anyone know of any web sites that might show photos that cant be explained away so easily.

I like this web site because most of you are willing to try and explain these things before just accepting them as real. I think that is the best way to go after things like this.

Anyway, anyone with any info?

I agree with you, it is frustrating. I think that some of these people are not trying to pass fakes as real, they are just so eager to get something paranormal that they jump to conclusions and refuse to except reason. Although, I think that is just as bad. I have a couple pictures that I have yet to be able to explain, but I can't get them on the computer, and a couple of them would be almost impossible to make out over a computer screen anyway.

I also agree. There are way too many claims out there, and for that, it is causing real authentic cases to be overlooked simply because it becomes way too hard tell which are real. If people would just come foward with any details and what they experienced and try to solve things first be fore ruling it as anything paranormal instead of experiencing something a little strange that could easily been explained, then first thing that comes out is "it's a ghost"...and then ...all hell breaks loose over someone calling someone else a liar.

I came across the same curiosity as everyone else and I too have the same frustration when it comes down to "posers". I discussed my take many times about this issue of people and their photos and how most purposely like to test everyone's patients. There was a time not too long ago that one person purposely photoshop an image onto a picture and displayed it on this forum. Next thing you know there was a lemming effect going on and everyone started doing it like it was a cool trend or something. Yea it was a very annoying week because you got photoshop pics after another and it's just like hearing the same joke over and over and over again even though it wasn't even funny the first time. Yea, there are a lot of good intellectual people on this forum that has that understanding and that same curiosity of the paranormal and want to progress and view interesting sh*t but these ass clowns that just jump into claims when in reality it is really nothing extreme in terms of the unexplained and are so biased without really sitting down with themselves and breaking down the possibilities of what just happened. That just ruins it for the whole forum having to go through it especially when they know they make crap up with their photoshop bs and try to persuade others that it is real when obviously it is so so fake! Don't get me started on the orb claims. There was already someone on here that demonstrated and broke down the manipulations of orbs when really it was just a reflected dust particle in the air. Enough said because as usual I say too much but no I don't know of any websites that contain interesting pics or videos (well I know some but can't remember where).

Well, I wasnt talking about this website. I just wanted to clear that up in case someone thinks I was coming down on anyone here. LOL!

It was a different website that post pics. Only a very few of them are pointed out as fakes when so many of them obviously are.

I am looking at the pics and the guy who runs the website is like "Great catch!" While I am thinking "it's a tree branch. Not a ghost. It's a relfection...not a ghost. It's smoke...not a reflection."

I dont know. It is a silly rant I know. I was just looking at that website last night and got so frustrated that I had to vent. LOL!! rolleyes.gif

If you check out the evidence page on our site you may find some of what your looking for. Now to be clear the photos are ones that can not be explained and many of them have meter readings etc to back them. Not every photo is a claim of a ghost. Only something that can not be explained. Take a look at the paranormal topics page. On that page you will find a link to a lot of other pages. There is a page called False photos and videos. Check that page out for some great examples of fakes.
