Under the surface
Go to www.spychips.com. Corporations and governments want to use these Radio Frequency ID chips to monitor EVERYTHING. They've already tested these chips on the public, and according to Katherine Albrecht, the infrastructure for this technology is being built right now. Of course, they don't want to call them RFID chips because that would have a bad ring to it. They're to be called "Contactless Smartcards."

Its going to happen either way you look at it. There already testing this stuff out on the public. They tried doing it with students in CA but the parents refused and they didnt go through with it.

Its not very secure so anyone could pick up the information with the right frequency right? I liked the idea that you could go anywhere you wanted w/o everyone under the sun knowing about it. Now everything you do will be monitored not only by security but by the Insurance outfits, people who protest or are involved in labor unions might get ticketed through this type of surveillance.

And I thought that the Reagan years were bad...I had no idea that it would get worse! The funny thing is that 30 years ago people were convinced that microchips under the skin were of the devil...now people cant wait to get them so as to prove how patriotic they are.
Mr Ed
I am pretty sure that the governments of the world are not planning to microchip us.

Pretty damn sure.

There doing it in Texas Mr Ed. They tried doing a test run at a school in California to but the parents protested it. I think in Texas they are making it law for every automobile to have one of these RFID tags imbedded in the car. Its supposed to keep track of uninsured motorist but there is also talk about tolling all the major highways depending on how far you drive. There's nothing wrong with the technology it could be very benefitial but it can easly be abused by government.

if people are dumb enough to get a chip implanted to show they are patriotic they deserve whatever they have coming. I dont think this will really happen though I really hope americans will be a little smarter then that but then who knows. They already started fingerprint scanning as a form of payment. No more checks, credit cards, or cash sounds great but something just doesnt seem right about it. Whats to stop hackers from getting into their databases and scrweing with the info.

If they can't get them under your skin right now, what's the next best way to track people's movements, habits, purchases, etc? Credit cards and checks and the like are already eminently trackable. How about cash?? They're already doing it. See:
