No offence, but what is with all the misspelled words? I have certainly seen the email forward that states that as long as the first and last letters of a word is correct, the letters in between don't matter because the human brain can still fluently read the words in spite of the misspellings. However, if you are doing such things on purpose it is quite annoying. If you are not doing it on purpose, do you not realize that there is a spell check option when you post a message? As I said before, I don't mean to offend, but it's annoying.

Chi/ki is usually a very hidden art that cant be learned online. If you look for it in a google search, you'll most probably find whats known as "Radi-ki" and is, for all intents and purposes, fake. My suggestion is, try to study its origins. You'll be surprized at what you find.

You should do it anyway. Your typos look like the kind of ones I do when I'm typing faster than my fingers can cope and letters get muddled. It's really worth taking the time to type a little slower and check your spelling because people are far more likely to take you seriously and listen to what you have to say

.
And sorry but I can't really help you with the Ki thing. Do a bit of research around the net. How is your friend learning? Couldn't you learn the same way?

Do not do any reserach on the net for such a subject, bercause you will only find speculation and foolish stories. Such abvilitycan only be taught by an accomplished master of the art. You cannot, I repeat CANNOT learn it by reading a web page. I suggest you attempt to succeed in the training of martial arts, and hope you become proficient enough that your teacher desires to show you more.
Anyways, blah blah spell check blah blah wow, I noticed misspelled words blah blah blah...
You say your friends is "into" Chi/ki. You should note the two are very different. I'd imagine your friend has nothing more than a casual interest, however strong it may be, yet has no actual skill in the discipline of either. If you really desire to learn more about the subject, I suggest finding a good local martial arts teacher, and training as hard as you can. Reading about it will do you no good unless you have the foundations of an art or discipline.

These people say that everyone and anyone can do it.
Therefore you do not need a guide, just do what you feel is right.
Of course nothing will happen, but still.

Taichi may help but I don't think it relates to ki/chi much. It's more of a training of the mind first and later applied to the body and controlling your body life energy. I don't mean that you go up to the mountains and train with bears and sit under waterfalls. What I mean is that since it's such a delicate complicated art which not many people know about, it's really hard to actually get to understand it. You probably need a master to tell you about this and learn it from him/her. Don't think you can learn it online.

I think before anyone can give you any kind of response that you're looking for, you have to tell us exactly what your understanding of what "Chi" is and what you might accomplish by learning it..
If you want to learn to use it to help focus your mind and body, you're on the right track..If you think you'll be chucking psi-balls around, that's different..

The healing of hand....
Psychic powers....
Healing of the hand --- Not possible.
There is no radiation or chemical reaction in the hand that would summon white cells to the surface of the wound faster than they normally would.
The only energy radiating would be respiration and heat. The best thing you could do is put pressure on a wound by application of force.
Easing Pain --- Not possible.
You would need to interrupt the nervous system sending the pain receptions to the brain. Interrupting them would end with more pain.
Foresight --- Not possible.
Life is full of variables. Once one is changed, the event changes. There is a variable in how many people know that this event is going to happen, if you use extra-sensory ability to tell when it's not anticipated that you will, you are altering a variable thus the event will change.

I'm not entirely sure why you posted this here because I (personally) don't see the relevance but... This one, I think is entirely possible. Pain is when your brain sends pulses to whatever part of your body telling you that that body part is having something adverse to your continued health and safety done to it. If you fool your brain into thinking it's not happening, there is no more pain. Adrenaline has the same effect. If you believe something strong enough it happens. For example, hypochondriacs. And, on a slightly more depressing point, people who purposefully cut themselves say it doesn't hurt, at least not in the same way as it does when they get a paper cut. It's all in their (and everyone's) heads.
EDIT:
Fixed that atrocious spelling

Andrenaline numbs the pain,
And depressed people pretend it doesn't hurt.
I know, as I have tried to commit suicide before.

I'm truly sorry to hear that, Replacement.

I got my information from cutters who said it doesn't hurt.
All the same, pretending it doesn't hurt is practically the same as it not being there. But, just because you don't think there is any pain (and therefore there isn't because pain is a sensation that only you can feel, then if you don't feel it it's not there) doesn't mean the damage
causing the pain isn't there.

While I don't believe it's possible for another to heal you, the human body has an amazing potential to heal itself..As proof just witness any of the medical studies where the control group were given placebos and recovered anyway, merely because they believed they were getting medicine..
If you actually believed somebody had the power of healing your body might just respond to that..Although it would be strictly you doing all the work via your subconscious..
