I saw on another forum some guy talking about flag poles stratigicaly placed around his city that are enclosed by a fence and are wider then normal. He also explained that there appeared to be wires running into the pole from the gound and a power transformer was near by. As well he explained that an unmarked van would come to preform maintnance on it. Does any one know more about these strange flag poles? Perhaps they are being used to emmit low frequencey EM waves to control our minds!!!

I would tend to a less fanciful explination, like the guy who posted the story originally might have been looking too hard to find something that is not there. Consider these points:
1. Flag poles are strategically placed because they bear a flag, presumably of a country or city or whatever. In a sense they serve as markers of territory or allegiance, so it makes little sense to place them all in a group.
2. Fences get put up around a lot of things, it keeps them safe. Some people make a habit of stealing things that are easily accessable.
3. Wide poles are more durable than thin ones. A government or corporation uninterested in replacing flag poles on a regular basis should be congratulated on their wise choice.
4. Unmarked vans are no signs of something afoot. Some companies choose not to advertise, as do some branches of the Crown. Chances are, these vans had licence plates, which can be checked.
5. What appears to be wires might not be. It could be anything, perhaps even some sort of cord in case of falls. Even if they are wires, for all we know they could be used to measure vibrations along the pole as part of a wind survey or to light a bulb at the top of the pole.
6. Electrical transformers have to go somewhere, sometimes this happens to be near a flag pole. Perhaps the flag was erected by the same organization that set up the flag pole.
As you can see, there are far less sinister and much more plausible explinations to this series of claims than EM wave generation.

I have solved the flagpole mystery. I was watching a news program from spokane (im not sure why i get their news from canada). Anyway, they were talking about the new telecommunication towers the cell phone companies were putting that looked like flag poles they they would not be an eye sour.
an eye sour? I haven't had that since a squirted my eye with a grapefruit.
im guessing you wont be doing that again......
