REVEALED: THE BEAST OF DARTMOOR
( ..BUT HE'S A BIT OF A PUSSYCAT)

A MYSTERY big cat branded the Beast of Dartmoor was unmasked yesterday... as a giant two-stone tomcat called Sebastian.

Villagers reported a panther-like animal on the prowl, with one claiming: "It looked powerful, with strong shoulder blades."

But Mike Healy, owner of the four-year-old pet, explained: "That just had to be Sebastian. The fields where the 'panther' was seen are his hunting grounds.

"He slinks around as if he's John Wayne but he's just a big softie."

Retired teacher Mike, 66, of East Ogwell, Devon, said Sebastian was once a normal-sized kitten, but then he just grew and grew.


He added: "The only time he's really a danger is when he lies on you."
