I am going on a holiday this August, to Scotland, Loch Ness to be precise. Me and my brother, we're going to smell the atmosphere of monster. For the future I plan on going to different 'unexplained' places, like Point Pleasant or teh museum in Key West that contains Robert the haunted doll.

Now I was wondering: are there any touroperators that organize holidays or excursions to places that are related to these 'unexplained' occurrences? I'd bet I'd do one every year! And wouldn't it be great..

What areas of the world are you looking for? I was looking into something in Ireland (I think) earlier this year. You could sign up with this group and spend different nights in different haunted castles. Ultimately, I decided I was too chicken.

I don't know... with a group it's no problem. Being alone in a haunted place really frights me, I guess.

I would like to really KNOW that something's out there. Now I can only assume.

btw: Ireland's really nice. If I'd go there one day I might aswell pick some of them haunted castles. What group is that you are referring to?

Here's the link. This one is "drive yourself"

I believe any place that you go to will have a Haunted Place tour. If you leave the mainland and go to Vancouver Island Victoria has a Ghost Tour. I thought it was cool. I didn't go on it but I wished I did. But to tell you the truth if I did go I would have been a little scared to go off on my own. I think a big group would just suit me fine. And a family member to go along with me. tongue.gif

Dont be scared of the Loch Ness Monster, at worst its a carnivorous reptile!

Oh, places of interest near Loch Ness:

The Boleskin Churchyard where Alistair Crowley the father of modern satanism held his dibaolical meetings.

And the preachers footprints at Invermoriston, now thats interesting thumbsup.gif

The Preachers Footprints? Sounds interesting indeed. Invermoriston's on the way there anyway.

*** off-topic [it's my own, so what?] ***

By the way, I plan on going to Craggy Island, or Inisheer, also, just popped up, since I've already spotted Dougal ánd Father Jack Hackett on this forum! Sadly enough, the typical Parochial house is on some other island, or on the mainland even, I've read somewhere.

Australias got quite a few places to see to.

There's the Berrima Courthouse tour which has had an increase of activity lately, you can then stay overnight in a haunted hotel.

Go out hunting for Yowies or go to Tasmania and search for the Tassie Tiger. You may even find proof of the extremely rare drop bear. The government tries to cover that one up though. Governments and conspiracies. disgust.gif

If you go out bush and speak to some long term locals theres a wealth of things the public have no idea about.

Happy hunting.
