Apparently, "The Skeleton Key" actress Kate Hudson is afraid of Hollywood's bad karma and she carries a bottle of water, so she can splash it over her body, whenever she meets someone surrounded by “negative energy”. The 26-year-old says, "When I'm around people who have bad energy, I usually carry some water and I just kind of, like, put it on myself."It's not like a holy water, just something to cleanse myself if someone's really negative. And I carry around crystals too. I feel it's important to protect yourself" the actress added.Hudson, daughter of Goldie Hawn, also declared she believes in the sixth sense and claims everyone has it. "I'm not afraid of that kind of stuff. I think everyone's psychic. It's just believing in your intuition".

"The Skeleton Key", opening in UK this week, features Hudson as Caroline, a young woman helping an invalid in New Orleans, who finds herself caught in the middle of morbid going-ons centered around a group of Voodoo practitioners.

Here's something why doesn't she not interact with people who she feels has negetivtive energy waves or something? Or just not let it affect her? She isn't crazy to believe that. Many Wiccans and some Buddhists believe water cleanses your spirit and gets rid of negative energy. I believe it, cuz I feel really good after baths.

It was HooDoo ( *link* ) in the Skeleton Key, but as the old lady says, you gotta believe in it to be affected by it and that is exactly what the girl starts to do. While at first she does not believe, she gets uneasy and starts to believe. That is why, in the end, the old lady and her accomplice (the young guy the girl asks for help) got her. I am sorry I forgot their names in the movie, been a while that I have seen it.

The end is that the spirit of the girl got trapped in the old lady's body and the old lady got into the girls body.

No I think it was Cecil, the black servant woman that got into Caroline's (Kate Hudson's) body, and the black servant man, Justify, who got into Luke's (the lawyer) body.
Caroline was then transferred into Violet Devaroe's body, the crazy old woman, and Justify was really Luke the whole time. So Luke the lawyer was really in Ben's (the crippled old guy) body which is why he was saying help me and all that.

That's right. They were the ones who did this swapping bodies thing all along, right from the start. I forgot that little part. They sought out a man and a woman and then transferred themselves into theirs.

Kate Hudson's use of water isn't off the bat. Water is very grounding and a good neg energy cleanser. But in saying that it isn't the most pratical of ways, but if it works for her who's to complain. Personally I like to use the bubble of light to protect my energy from others negitive stuff, much more pratical...
