well i know i shouldnt have installed it on a laptop but i kinda did anyways. i really dont know much about computer, not enough to find a solution to my problem. the lag is too unbearable for me. it makes gameplay impossible. i know its probably the storage on my laptop; battlefield 2 is just too much for my laptop to handle. i had enough to play the game, but it sucked. okay, i know im just repeating things here, so any suggestions?

Okey, so your puter does meet the minimum specs for the game, thats good. Things you can do that might the game more playable;

- defrag your harddrive, also uninstall things you really dont use

- before you play the game, turn off things like anti-spyware pgms, anti-virus pgms, firewalls and so on, all pgms that run in the background uses resources you need for the game, so turn off everything you dont need

- in the game, turn off all nifty special effects, like shadows, AA, smoothers and so on, reduce resolution, turn off EAX sound

Okey, what hardware have you got then? You dont have a built in graphics accelerator I hope, you really cant expect to play any graphic intense game with one of those.

Bad news my freind... you cant game from a laptop.... the main reason.... the video... which is built in cant handle gaming...I have a dell with 64 megs and it is useless.... unless you buy a laptop especially for gameing then the average laptop wont cut the mustard!!! Sorry.... crying.gif

Gaming requires a strong processor...not celeron or duron or semron either...
Good Hard Drive... Wd or Maxell...not seagate.....
Alot of good memory....like 1 gig corsair
Butt kicking video card...128 megs at least.. and not a 'Budget" card either...
no lower than an ATI 9600 or Nvidia 5700....no lower!!!!!

For gaming you need to have a bone crunching but kicking desktop!!! thumbsup.gif
