I have lost two important books.
The first is a red 1b5 humanities book filled with important notes and sheets.
The second is a thick paper chemistry booklet, of equal importance.
I must find these books by tomorrow night - this is very important!
I'm not quite sure where the books could be, I often misplace things, but so far it hasn't turned up anywhere at home.
I am somehwhat skeptical towards most of the people who claim to be psychics here on UM, but I do beleive there is some 'unseen' power, or intuition, that we are all gifted with.
If you beleive you are psychic, please help me out, whether it be by visualisation or whatever. I have confidence you may be able to help me.
Any information would be appreciated.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a desk in your house?
Megalomania

Okay, I'm a skeptic, no powers for me.
But where are your books normally situated?
Do you ever take them places on routine?
And are there any other people in the household that would be interested in moving them?
Have you sat down and read them lately?
(Just trying to jog your memory by asking you these questions

Sure do. I seemed drawn to it too. Nothing though. I think one of the books rested there for a while, but it's gone now.

Hmm.. good questions.
The books are normally either in my bag or on my desk. This suggests they have been lost somewhere at school, but I dunno...

If it's against a wall look behind it.

Mmm, With the desk, you know, do the usual stuff you would, have a good look around.
Look in places where you might subconciously put it down.
For example, if you were reading it in your kitchen, you'd be more likely to leave it there, than remember to return it to your desk

In your bag, just check each pocket.
I'm not sure about the school, it's sure as hell possible,
but people generally egt into routines of putting books bag in their bags without thinking...
But school would be good to check tomorrow too

Well then, we'll just use intuition.
Did you check your car if you have one ?
Did you bought something and put your things down ?
Did you eat outside or someone talking to you and you
unconciously put it down ?
Did you pushed it down on your computer desk ?
or retrace your movements.
When is the last time you remember holding your stuff ?
That's all i can say.
and Lamers please stop your intrusion, its not gonna work.

This prooves all things happen for a reason. You're probably going to turn around and the books will be there.

I'll say a prayer right now to God that you will find your book and your chem booklet on time. If you do find them, the glory goes to Jesus Christ, and not me.
God Bless

Thanks.
Dreams have worked for me in the past, so I will ask for my dream to give me the wherabouts of the books tonight.
Meanwhile, are there any psychics picking anything up? grudges? intuition?

I don't know what your beliefs are, so I don't want to insult you accidentally with what I say. But the way I look at it, a dream is just a production of our own mind. I can really only ask my dream as far as I can ask myself. Although I still kind of know what you are referring to. However, You should try asking God himself to help you find your books. Who knows, you might get a response. What do you have to lose?

Insight, I understand your point of view. I would have thought, however, that as a religous person, you would also beleive in outside messages in dreams. Are dreams not a way in which god speaks to his followers in the bible?

But your dreams know your inner most thoughts deep in your sub conscious and his sub con probably knows where it is.

Did you check the area the books were lost in? ie. close to an outside environment, they are also resting on their sides, I can sense it, also, on of them is open, and is not being read by you, but the other, the other you see, I feel, is in a state of turmoil with it's metaphysical self, and is choosing to not be found just yet. Wait for the stars to line up in favour of the capricorn, and then the book may have feelings of some sort that day that may or may not allow you to find it!

Kala, are you serious?
Socrates, the best thing you can do is totally retrace your steps. Not just retrace in your mind. I've lost things and thought, "Well, I was here, here, and here. But I don't remember leaving it in any of those places". But then, when I actually check, I find I was wrong.
As far as using dreams as a tool, this is what I've heard. I've tried it before with no luck, but perhaps you'll do better. When you're lying in bed, relax (perhaps meditate). As you relax and are getting close to sleep, think "Where are my books? Where are my books?" over and over. Supposedly, if you think about something just before sleep, you'll dream of it. Like I said, it doesn't work for me, but you can try it. The way the brain works through dreams is basically a problem solving or sorting out method to classify and file away stuff you've done throughout the day (or week, or whatever). Kind of tidying up, if you will. If you've instructed your brain to remember subconcsiouly where you left your books, perhaps you'll wake up in the middle of the night with an answer.
Good luck!

Yep, I did dream about them. But in the dream I found them on my drawers. They aren't there.

Well, it was just a thought. I warned you it never works for me, either.

Sorry, I can't really help you. I've been proclaimed "not psychic".

Your under wear? Look where ever you keep your underwear.
Socrates, have you had them in a library or other place where books were laying around that they could have got mixed in with?

NEWS FLASH: The chemistry booklet has been found. It had accidentally slipped into a different folder.
Thanks to all for your support, and espeacially to Tia for her succesful suggestion.
However, the humanities book remains amiss.

Where was the folder?
On your desk, in your bag? If so, I would like credit too lol

Nah, don't worry, glad you found one of them
