Can suicide ever be justified? Can the right to live truly be equated to a right to die? Since life is truly our only possession, does anyone have the right to tell us what to do with it, including ending it?

if you believe in free will and self-determination than suicide is in the hands of the contemplator.

the reason it is deemed wrong, sin, illegal, etc is because people killing themselves depletes society/religion of minions.

I have been personally devastated by suicide and as much as I wish it wouldn't of happened I stand firm on this she had the right to do with her life as she saw fit even to end it, I do not beleive in a diety that would say otherwise. FREE WILL IS JUST THAT FREE WLL> Namaste sehri

Indeed it should SilverCougar, and will be.
The reason, is this is a subject that timelessly pops up and timelessly hits many soft spots. Just last week i closed a topic on suicide, and i'm doing it again i'm afraid.
