Fifteen?! I'm suprised that the baby didn't come out pre mature or with somekind of birth defect just because of the mothers age. This is terrible for the baby and the mother. The mother will be labled as a slt and the child will probably be made fun of because of the age of it's mother and what their parents say. I hope her parents are supporting her and helping her because she isn't even old enough for a job. Poor things.

Hell... I was in 5th grade when the drilling started about sex. I guess it isn't the same over there... parents would seem to rather believe their child couldn't have sex then talk to them or let the school do it. Ignorance is NOT bliss, in this case!

It is now sad that this girl, at 15, will have to live now with HIV while caring for a baby... It can be done... just not easily.

Actually, this shows how messed up we really are. I can go get laid right now for five bucks if I wanted to. And I'm 13. I myself could end up with God knows what diseases and a child. We're falling quickly you guys. Something really eeds to be done but nobody cares. Kids are going to keep screwing like animals and we're going to be a nation full of young parents with diseases. But as I said beforeno one cares.

Wow... Poor thing's life is ruined so early, and given that poor infant a hard start to life. How sad, at 15 she had already had two sexual partners. It's just awful that kids can't BE kids...she should not have any of these things to worry about that young.

As I said, we're going down quickly. Kids know more than our parents ever did. And nobody cares.

i hate statements like this, do you know that your parents most likely had sex before they were out of highschool, and thier parents, and thier parents, and so on and so fowarth, teenage sex is nothing new, and it wont go anywhere



its really not that serious, as long as your educated about proper precautions, and the risks invovled, what else is there to care about? should we all be destined to never have sex untill we are married? thats stupid

Well, teenage mothers aren't very well accepted here. And what I mean tby that last coment, we know more about sex, drugs, and other things then our parents ever did.

Teenage mothers were not too acceptable here in with the predominate Quaker/A.M.E. Methodist. But since coming home I have seen alot of this. Luckily my tribe takes care of its own and babies are given to other people to raise who are capable. I was such a case as my mother was your typical 60's free love pot smoking teen and was given to one of my dad's cousins. Also 1 in 3 people in the outskirt cities are HIV positive and people who go bar hopping and whoring bring it back to the woods so their are many HIV

thats a stupid question, "why did she have sex in the first place", why do you think? sex is a natural drive.

15 is icing on the cake compared to the age of some girls that have sex. But two partners? that's a little much for 15. And the guy was described as old. What is she doing with a guy alot older than her anyhow?? I'd put a chasity belt on m 15 yr. old and ground her if she was dating a guy of age. A guy of age and a girl of 15 is a big difference. She don't know any better and the guy looks at her as a peice of young cake. I beleive we should just try to educate our kids more on protection. That's not to give the ok for sex at a early age, but it's better than raising your grandchild when your kids themselves aren't even raised to age. Like my mother told me, I'll tell my daughter same thing when she's hit that age, I raised my kids, I aint raising my grandkids-so if you wanna ruin your social life and stay home with your kid when the father probably aint good for sh** for getting a young girl pregnate to begin with, then it's all yours.
But the real worst part of this all, is that the mother has HIV. I know when you get prego that you are given a blood tests cuz of this and thank God for that.I'am glad they caught it early but what if she starts getting sick when the kid is still in school and what if the father won't stick around, it's gonna be hard, so I think the best that we all can do is pray for this young mother and her baby.

Ya I know, it's just sad that's she's got them. But still the baby is gonna have a hard life, hopefuly it won't be too hard. Hopefully the baby tests negative.

Has everyone forgotten that long before there was 'rules' about teenagers having sex, that they were getting married at these ages???
I mean, the only difference is that they arent careful about how they do it, and with who.
IF girls are old enough to get pregnant then their bodies are prepaired to form a perfectly healthy baby. The functions of a body in this way are not running blindly.
Also, with girls having babies at such young ages it is just as much SOME parents fault as it is the childs because they help the child too much. Hince, raising it as their own and then fussing and complaining because their kid wont raise their own baby.
Ive been close to someone who done this. She had a child at 15, and her mother just started raising the baby. I had a child when i was barly 17, but i was ALWAYS mom. Noone else mothered my child.
That is where most people go wrong. IF the child choose to have the baby, then the child should be responsible for raising it. I know i know, a little help is good. But too much help is bad.
Tough love on some things is not a bad thing.

by girlfriends sister was 18 when she had a baby, and she had the same mentality as undefined innocence, she was strickly the mother, no one babysat or took care of her son unless it was someone watching him while she was at work and the dad was at work, thats about it

UI, I was the same I had my girl at 18 and then I was strictly the momma and stillam. No one watches her unless i am working or her dad has her.

I have a daughter who is about to be 13 and her friends are already commenting on their "boyfriends" and dating it won't be long before I end up putting the chasity belt on mine. I had gotten a letter in her school work one year not too long ago that was asking me for persmission to let her take sex ed classes. Let me tell you at first I was pissed. I didn't want a bunch of idiots teaching my daughter how to properly place a condom on a boy. But....I found out now a days they teach them alot more than that. They actually show them what happens and what it looks like to have vinereal diseases and how much it costs to have children. And the pain that you go thru and everything along those lines. I have reconcidered since then. Because when I sat back and thought about it, this girls parents might have had the "sex" talk with her but how many teens actually take note of what their parents tell them is bad or good? They would much quicker believe a stranger than their own parents. And unfortunetly these children start with flirting and sexual inuendos as young as 13. They are only hearing the good, fun side of sex from their friends not hearing the bad side of it. They need to be educated on what "can" happen.

DEFINETLY LET YOUR KID TAKE THE SEX ED CLASSES, if she doesnt get them in school now, she never will, the sex ed classes really are a help, and no, they dont teach you how to puta condom on, lol
