I say NO DOG! look, there is a bird in the photo..it has been said that a bird wont stand there in front of a dog! And the horse on the right...it seems like it "suddendly breaks right" scared....

I'm from Concepción and have been working in Santiago for little over a a year. On May 10 this year I decided to take some photos at Parque Forestal, taking some 10 shots which I downloaded to my PC the following day .

I thought it would be interesting to photograph a group of Carabineros (state police) on horseback patrolling the sector. The photo was taken at 17:40 hrs approximately from the corner of JM de la Barra and Av. Cardenal José María Caro, in front of bellas Bellas Artes and looking east.
It was a cloudy day and the sun was hidden, for which reason my digital camera ( Kodak DX6490) adjusted to low speed (1/10 seg.).
This is the reason why the photo shows motion (those knowledegable about photography will know the reason why)Furthermore, the Carabineros were som 20 meters distant, and I employed the camera's optical zoom (10x) which added to the blurred result. .

The fact is that I am very impressed by this image. I attest to the fact that it is not a fraud nor anything similar. For this reason I have made it public and I contacted the staff of CIFAE Chile. I would like to know the true nature of the image that appears in it and if anyone has ever caught anything similar in a photo. Nothing more.

Don't worry about your english Even most of the english speakers can't speak proper english here Anyways, those are great pics, although it does look photoshopped(notice how the leaves mysteriously stop a ways before the creature's back?).

Isn't it weird how if a pic's too blurry, it's fake; and if it's too clear, it's fake?

Looks like someone stood a teletubbie doll there and took a pic then fuzzed it out in a photo editing program. Dont belive it is an alien! HA...what would an alien be doing just walking through a park like that??

Anyway nobody will never now. But i think its a good pic. It could be any of the above.

Its a kid chasing pigeons...just because they blurred the pic out, that doesn't make this a grey. The obviously can't take a picture and are incapable of even faking one.

I am sure they are both really proud showing their faces on the web like that. I would find a bomb shelter if I was them.

Not to be rude but, That photo has been on alot of threads, I thought it had already been proven to be a fake.

The "Non-profit Org. (Research Ufo Organization) CIFAE CHILE. Entidad de Investigacion sin Fines de Lucro, is very serious in Chile, and it hasn´t claim that this is a fake at no point.
This is a totally independent org. , and it has debunked a lot of fakes in the past, but not this one.

You cant be serious!?! This pic is the worst I have ever seen in the attempt to fake an alien sighting....this would be like a man in a gorilla suit with the head off, sitting down drinking a soda and someone taking a pic...then saying....'Hey!!! its bigfoot!!' This is the worst...

This photo has fascinated me for the last couple of years but I never thought it could just be a kid. Good,obvious point Bio-Mage. I feel so gullible.

Only one of the pictures opened for me, and it was too hard to tell anything from that.

Unlikely an alien would be walking around in broad daylight with people around.

That pic has been on this form before, it's a photo shop job, and not a few good one at that.

it look likes a dog to me in hte last link i think scroll down and theres your dog, it can be copy and paste really easy, and if it was an alien wouldnt the horse freak out? like jump or sumthing, and the guy notice? hes patrolling unless it moves at a incredible speed
